Where do we post our PlanetCricket Battrick Premier League Results?
If here, Aamir's Rockers bt Warwickshire Bears by 180 runs.
I had a very poor game, only my best player Rowntree doing anything decent as he hit 77 off 81 balls as we chased 322 to win, however we fell well short. Well done Aamir, I expected a win today but your team is made of players who are all good, there isn't one single bad player.

New poll up to see get an opinion on the Tournament Structure, i must agree that the combined tournament has done nothing but benefit the activity around the Battrick area on PC. Would be great to see some experienced teams handing out advice to the younger generation

I got well and truly stuffed by Assasains, combination of poor morale, no top quality batsmen and a bowling attack that can't perform on anything not dusty

I won today by nine wickets. 6 overs left and that means me and Jorzza are 1, 1 now. Its always good to start of with a win and i think I can win my group now. Good luck guyz!!

Had a great game against Mental Blank had to chase down 280 for victory though only managed to get 278/7 losing by one run great victory to Mental Blank and also doing at the HP Pavilion
Though I'm not unhappy with the result as six of my starting players didn't play in the game and my third choice players didn't too bad against them

Beat Norfolk N Chance by 62 runs, batting looked a bit shaky but the middle order held strong to get some runs on the board. Bowlers then came and did a good job on the slow pitch to defend my low total, but got the job done.

partially true. I think i'm better suited to a flat than dusty pitch though, people who play on a flat pitch will generally have a dodgy bowling attack compared to batting, and i think spinners will keep the RR down more than seamers, but on a green the opponents will have a good seam attack, so on a flat my limited batting may cash in against a sub par attack whereas on a green a decent seamer will rip them open
I'd says spinners aren't much worse on a flat than a green, if worse at all. I think 3 spinners is the way to go for me )long term) with 4 seamers 3 spinners play generally at home/away on a dusty, with only 2 or perhaps 1 depending on PF, green pitch etc
just take a while to get 4 good seamers, i don;t even have one tbh (2 strongs and a quality)
