The wishlist thread

In IC10, especially in tests AI always kept same fielding setup regardless of batsman

Ie. you have no 4, 100 not out, really defensive field, no 11 comes in and he has defensive field also

Simply, each batsman needs to be assigned his own field, depending on match situation and his ability

...Someones been watching the T20 game that just happened! :lol Was VERY exciting. I'll second the request for the "super over" to be included.

"The Eliminator", as it used to be called (it seems to have been re-branded recently!), was actually in IC2010. It will be there again.

I must say to be fair that having played IC2010 again after a while, there is lot that Trickstar did well and you do have a sense of being immersed in a game of cricket. The action cams are great, the atmosphere is generally pretty decent, graphics are by far the best in a cricket game and if you are willing to play the shorter versions of the game it can be good fun.

You know... it was nominated for a BAFTA... #JustSaying :-)

Yup, played a superover in IC2010....ah yes, the BAFTA.....

British Asscociation of Fielders with Troublesome Apathy.....I imagine you won all the awards from them! :p

Wow, I did not know that. I have a copy of '10 sitting on my shelf gathering dust. I really only play '09 because I enjoy modding it (and PC gaming) but I'll have to dust it off now...

I dont think you can just play a superover, it would need to actually happen after a Twenty20 tie....anyway from what I have understood we cant play online anymore anyway. Bur still, I get enough enjoyment out of IC2010 to tie me over till next Summer......

i'd like the developers to make the ball swing using similar mechanics used brian lara 2005 (pressing L1 or R1 would swing the ball and also moves the cursor). it was a lot of fun abusing this option with my friends to get them out.

have a career mode or something like the road to wrestlemania in wwe games. call it roaD to the WC or something lol

Something I thought of...

The "Bullet Time" effect in AC09 could be expanded to Batting and Bowling for certain events, like charging at the bowler, placing specific shots (scoop/paddle shots or switch hits come to mind) and even bowling (perhaps yorkers, targeting bouncers) that sort of thing.

"Bullet Time" was used for catching in the fielding... what about for throwing at the stumps to effect run outs?

Just something I think is worth expanding on. You click a trigger on the controller (or button on PC) and you go into "Bullet Time" mode to place more nuanced shots or switch hit, paddle the ball or hit it into the gap to get a quick single? This exact thing is executed really well in (here I go again...) Sidhe's "Rugby Challenge" game when you're kicking for touch or other kicking actions. It's an automatic thing, gives a bit more time to place the ball, get distance etc. Would work really well in a cricket game too and you'd get some really dynamic camera shots zooming in or out, depending on the shot you wanted to play. Same for fielding where you might "ZOOM" into a fielder view mode aim for the stumps, zoom out and bam... run out happens.

The "Ticking Clock" of the bullet-time could be influenced by the players fielding stats. Ie, better fielders get more time to take catches and effect run-outs while lesser fielders wouldn't.

I think shots like The Reverse Weep and the dil scoop should be in and yes i agree with Biggs

I want a feature that if ball goes to boundry then fielder chased it & stop it at the boundry by hand or making a drive,Did'nt like c07 that balls goes & goes,I also want a review system,Till i playing c07 cuz of my low Graphic card if i update my PC,i want to play AC09,then IC10 then A13 but when i start playing A13,its releasing about 3 or 4 years:lol:lol

Suggestion for AC'13

My suggestion for AC'13 pc game.

1. Individual carrier mode.
> Personal kits & other stuffs collection as we go on unlocking.
> Popularity in crowd must go on increasing/decreasing as per individual performance. eg: sachin tendulkar, Ricky pointing.
> Custom player must enter in international team(test,odi,T20) only by giving good performance in domestic cricket(test,odi,T20).
> There must be personal collection of rewards points after being man of the match or man of the series to buy external kits & other stuffs.

2. Game format.
> "World cup" starting with group matches.(ODI,T20)
> "Triangular series"(ODI,T20,Test)
> "World tour" with individual team.(ODI,T20,Test)
> "Test session" as it was in BLC99.(Fight for Rank no.1)
> "Test series"
> "Domestic matches" only for custom player to get an entry in international team(ODI,T20,Test)
Eg: Custom player should be man of the series twice(ODI,T20,Test) to get into international team.(for realistic)

3. DLF ipl game format.
> There should be Auction to buy players to create a new DLF IPL team with the help of individual rewards points.

4. "Retired hurt" for a match or the whole series, so that other players should get chance.(to get more realistic)

1. Individual carrier mode.

As long as it's the Hellicarrier from The Avengers and I get to play cricket in the Sky, I'm all for this idea...

3. DLF ipl game format.

Absolutely wholeheartedly disagree. There's no need to convolute a game with any IPL leagues. Focus on good, gripping gameplay mechanics and a involving tour/career mode.

I agree. Get some new shots in.

We should also have Six Distance. and Advanced Fielding
