well sri lankas cant loss the match now.. its for india to save it. i think sri lanka will bat for 3 hours on the forth day and will have a lead of 275+ and ask indians to bat for 9 hours to save the match

Sri Lanka needs to give themselves enough chance to win the game. Ideally they should bat an hour and a half and try to score as many runs as possible. They should bat at a faster pace and score 70-80 runs in that time and declare, leaving India with a deficit of 250+ to cover. And they will have a day and two sessions to bowl India out and chase down any score (if India wipe out the deficit).

All in all, its Sri Lanka's game to lose. India havent done themselves any favor here with a mediocre bowling performance on a placid pitch. India needed 100 more runs to their total.

We do have a life to deal with. As our Guru Gary said the game is balanced, the early play tomorrow matters a lot. hope we get a winner.

they looked so bad because all mishra n co were bowling from round the wicket with defensive field that took away lbw out of equation. .and harbhajan though bowling from over the wicket just like mishra had defensive field but more importantly he wasn't getting the support. too. . .rather harbhajan should have bowled from round the wicket, that wouldn't have taken away lbw away from harbhajan and could have been more lethal.

Dude, Harbhajan sucks! He's surviving because of a few performances in the past. He's living on potential and reputation. It's time Chawla or Ojha got a good run in the team.

Well this game is not an individual players game, he is good enough to stay in the team rather best spinner available to India at the moment. If he has a record to brag about what is wrong in that. He has earned his reputation and place in the team, Indian board is already too famous for making wierd changes in the team for no reason :laugh. Anyway what I wanted to say is, he alone cannot take wickets when captain isn't ready to attack and supportive bowlers are lacking. .and I am his not his fan, rather I dislike him for some reason :laugh

Well mate you forgot to add 'at the moment' to the quote 'the best spinner in India'..see they both have completely different meaning. However, when harbhajan came in, he also had to fight for his place and he managed it pretty well for so many years. Likewise, if there is another guy out there better than harbhajan right now, he has to manage it himself to get a place in the team.
Indian team has Individual great players at the moment, much better than Sri Lanka man to man. .but the team lacks creativity, imagination and cohesiveness- which can do wonders for any team.

So for that, the spinner has to have a big reputation of running through opposition teams and Harbhajan has that in quite good amounts. He needs a break right now to sort his stuff out. Definitely he is not over yet. But a break might help him see whats wrong. He is mainly an attacking bowler and he should know that. If the opposition tries to disturb his rhythm by stepping out and hitting him, he should withstand that and still be able to attack and prise out wickets. Thats what is called 'battle'.

He's not just some youngster that we can forgive because of inexperience, nervousness, etc. He's 29 years old and has played 77 tests. He needs to shape up or ship out. He needs to accept responsibility as India's best spinner and perform accordingly.
