If anyone were to ask me, which they didn't, I am still confident of there being a next installment in the Ashes series, albeit via a different studio. I think the game was financially successful and that Codemasters will want to se a sequel to it. Just my tuppence worth for what it's worth (yes, tuppence!)

Running a company is not a responsility of government but the management. Even we should support Transmission in every way possible I don't agree with that suggestion. I hope that somehow they come out of this one on their own and our support.

What I meant by government support is we here in Aus have kind of ridden above the financial crisis by our government handing out stimulus packages to ease the burden and encourage retail spending and a lot of business' rather than sacking staff, have adapted work schedules to keep people in jobs.
Of course, it does depend on a companies management and product for their own success but, what I was suggesting is that TG was a small business that should have gotten support like many others through the financial hard times considering money was going everywhere else, and surely for TG there would have been signs that all was not well.
I did support TG - I bought the game! And if they manage to resurface in another form and release another cricket game, I'll support that too.

same they did say sit tight for a few days but we have been and it would be nice if someone would speak out now about the patch situation we do deserve to know dont we??

It would just be nice to hear "yes we are still releasing the patch " and then i would be fine and my mind would be at rest and i wouldnt mind waiting for the release you know

Personally, I think we will be very lucky to get the patch. The staff at TG are probably still in shock from the loss of their jobs, those that aren't will be looking around aus for another job(not many game devs in Aus).

It's really down to Codemasters now, the one ray of hope though, I noticed on Steam, Grid recieved a new patch. Considering it's been out for over a year, this was quite a surprise from Codies. It has to be said though, Grid was pretty successful game, far more(I imagine) then AC09.

Yes but the admins have been in contact with jamie firth and his gang(im sure hmarka will be along shorlty to show you a picture of his gang)and they have said that there are not aloud to say anything at this time, but obviously someone has an idea of whats gonna happen lets be realistic. And if they have been in contact many times im sure everytime they werent just saying were not sure yet so dont say anything. The admins arent alowed to share some information with us yet.

I think we are all frustrated that nothing has been said ye, but if your doing everything you can to hopefully get some kinda word from someone then im satisfied for now
