Transmission Closes Down

i've only just started to really enjoy online play (despite lag issues), so am less desperate for PS3 patch than a week ago

If we'd really like to tackle piracy within cricket games then we should take a leaf from Eidos' books.

Eidos, the developer of the recent successful game Batman: Arkham Asylum, have added some novel “features” to the game to prevent copyright infringement. Recently a user on the Eidos forum complained that the glide function in their copy of the game had been disabled, making it impossible to complete the game.

“When I…jump from one platform to another, Batman tries to open his wings again and again instead of gliding.”

An Eidos community manager replied, saying the user had encountered “a hook” in the copy protection system, designed to “catch out people who try and download cracked versions of the game for free”.

“It’s not a bug in the game’s code, it’s a bug in your moral code,” he added.

why not have a CD key for online play ? u can still copy the game BUT only one can use the key online :banana2 its simple & u can pirate PS3 & Xbox & play online :( so it aint just PC

they should of use the same as BL07 (RP07) starforce protection

thats why game was $60 & most games are about $80 - $100, they should of charge more for the game & got better protection its really there own fault

Yeah, because no one would get around that!

Piracy will always exist, it's what you do when people get caught that is important.
