Unofficial Buildup to the 2010/11 Ashes

TBH I was going, and still am going for Pakistan against Australia for two reasons.

1. So we can actually have some competition
2. I don't really like our team ATM so if we keep losing new faces will come

I can appreciate that

I don't see any way that England can win any of those Tests. It's like travelling to Hell and trying to beat Satan on his own turf.

My thoughts exactly. None of the grounds really favour them, and collapses like we saw from the Aussies last year are unlikely to happen on home soil. Although possible, the Windies and Pakistan triggered a few....

Some people watch just because they love cricket. Therefore, some people do care.

The England/SA test series was one example. Was just good to watch two fairly evenly matched countries go at it. Great stuff. The series ended 1-1 and the winner was Test match cricket.

As an Australian, I want to flip the poms over by an innings win every test.

Yeah I don't really GAF if it's a contest or not, revenge is a dish best served with a 5-0 whitewash dessert.

Usually I'd like it if Australia got a bit of a scare and some close competition. But against the Poms who cares! Go Australia and belt those Poms back to where they belong!

There is a good time gap in which, either of the teams can go crap. :D But I can see Aussie team getting stronger & stronger though.

No, the winner was the weather. South Africa deserved to win 3-1 but negative cricket and the weather saved England.

Good to see some support for some thrashings by Australia. I always get annoyed in any sport when Australians suggest they would like to see us lose for the sake of competition. I've seen to many low times for teams I support in sport over the years to ever want to see my team defeated.

I want to see my side performing at their best and if that means destroying the opposition then so be it

Some people enjoy thrashings, other people don't. So there you have it.
