Remember i told that this was to make Cricket 2005 gameplay similar to ..Brian Lara Cricket 99..Those who have played Brian Lara will Know it better...

The gameplay is very similar to Brian Lara 99..u can play shots...but as the difficulty increases...edges increases..


Now in my version 4 to be released ..there are 4 varying difficulty gameplay paramaters,,like in fifa amateur , semipro ,pro and worldclass..

u can play with whichever u want...I am gonna make some of the attacking and advance shots hard to play..i mean increasing the difficulty like the legside 6 hit shots and a few others are easy to socere off....while..keeping the normal shots easy to play around with very few edges...

i'll be increasing the difficulty of the test matches...a bit..ie few attacking shots early on..will only fetch u runs...

Hold on in about a week ...i'll release it...By the way hows the field settings...i rearranged the slips in Boss's field settings to let us score easily thru 3rd man area in Odi's..

The test match is going along nicely me as Australia vs South Africa will put a review up for you on the thread when i finish it.

and as you requested a short note on the slips...they are positioned perfect mate got a couple of edges which just flew past the slip fielder just when i got a bit carried away almost cost me 2 wickets in the space of 3 overs before i pulled my head in a bit and settled down, i must say i love the fielding positions you have they are challenging but not impossible to get the ball past you have struck the perfect balance in the fielding and slips positions well done mate.

ur patch is gr8 but the six hit on the leg side is very easy even on realistic on hard mode.can u luk into it.i got 13 sixes using dhoni on a dusty pitch against pakistan.

Well nice to see your enthusiasm and willingness to serve the pc community with a quality patch.Nice to see you are working hard.

However I would also like to tell you one thing that, have some patience regarding feedbacks and reviews. People will definitely post reviews if they like your work. Being a patchmaker myself I know how significant the reviews are when you've worked hard. I was also a bit excited like you when I had released my first patch..so I know what it means.
Anyways keep up the good work and hope to see some more great patches from you in the future.Let me know if you need any help. I'll also try my best to help you.

thanx anuj and doctor....by the way my enthusiasm stems from the fact that i want to know whether theres bugs or not .any way thanks for letting me know u r a pro ..by now.....i did try your patch it was fun... it was the closest to the best ai pacing in the test and 50 over match we have on this forum....it was kool..but prefer flexible stroke play..urs was a liitle bit rigid for my liking..but great patch anyway..

hey mate i have tried out your patch and started a test match at hard level .its a great patch ,swing and pace are realistic.strokes are nicely edited . played just 15 overs but your patch is good . however i will play more and post my views on your patch

btw where do u stay in Mumbai??

I found that too, 78 off 18 balls with Gilly and 44 off 10 with Nathan Bracken, In a TEST Match!!!!!!!!!!!

i ve tried both ODI's and Tests!!!! really a great work!!!!! Fantastic patch!!!!!

One suggestion:

The shots like six should not be easy to all except few like
Sachin,dhoni,sehwag,gibbs,hayden,jayasuriya,gilchrist etc....
i.e batsman like dravid,kallis cannot hit big sixes right from the first!!! So adjust and balance this factor.... and make the shots to become easy and easy as the confidence meter gets filled for those batsmen like dravid etc....

I found even kumble can hit big sixes!!!!! Try to get more edges if a bowler bats unless he plays defensive so perfect as it happens in real cricket!!!!


expecting all these things to be fixed in next version........ I found this patch has a very gud gameplay!!!! Make it the best gameplay!!!!!

Hey thanx surendar....i'll make sure that fix many a things in the next patch...By the wa if u want onl gilly Sehwag Dhoni ..to hit big sixes and not people like Kallis and others...use Tutsi roster...1.1 i have said that ...he has done great work on that......it works and blends fine wit this...infact i have endorsed its use along with this patch early on at the first page itself...

By the way jk..i am not an iitian ...i am doing my BE in Electronics from Bombay University....by the parents work in IIT thats why i am in iit ..lol

By the way people who feel the legside six hit shot can be played too often...well i have edited the strokefile.. ..u can hit that only if u time it perfectly...now unlike the other there u go...

Well i am working my ass out ...to provide good support to my patches...and i know its a tiresome thing....No wonder EA doesnt release any patches or upgrades...they might just become dorked by the amount of bugs it has...

this is the edited strokes file...each has a different version of legside 6 hit shot .just extract it to your root folder see which one u like and retain that..now u cannot always hit a 6 with legside 6 hit ..i prefer the 2nd one...though
