Vitality Blast

Good win for Lancashire earlier means they qualify for the QF stage with 2 games to spare which the game next Friday i'm going to won't mean anything to them. 3 wickets for Flintoff which is fantastic as it looks as though he hasn't lost anything in the 5 years he's been away.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself tonight at Old Trafford, great win for Lancashire, hard to believe that Derbyshire are bottom with the batting performance but their bowling was a bit to be desired.

Got autographs with most of the Lancashire team and even a picture with Jos Buttler. The players were very nice and didn't turn down any request with the fans which is excellent to see for public relations.

I managed to get to OT for this game! Great knocks from Ash and Brown! Sad to see Junaid Khan go, he'll be a huge miss!

I was to the left of the media center between that and the temporary stand for the test. Few hits near where I was sitting at the end of the Lancashire innings. Junaid will definitely be a big miss especially his jump during the run-up.

Will definitely go again whether it be the home QF or next season

Hants beat Essex by 5 wickets. Carberry and Coles playing well.

Essex going along very strongly against Sussex so far in their final game before the QF's.

I hope Surrey don't win the competition this year. Such an unlikeable team.

I grew up in Warwickshire and have always had them as my first team... but I'm not sure that I can recognise the "Birmingham Bears" as my team. That said, rather them than Essex obviously. :)

I'm interested why you think Surrey are unlikeable? I watch them a lot and they're a terrific team to watch - exciting risk-takers. Really good fun and totally capture the spirit of T20.

I've got nothing against most of them and it is funny watching KP when he obviously really doesn't care too much. It's the likes of Batty, Dernbach and their younger bowlers though. As soon as they take a wicket, or get hit for a boundary, they're all mouth at the batsman, mostly with a mouthful of expletives. I get that you're fired up and I've got no problem with showing that in body language, but why the need to shout and swear at some one?

Meanwhile, in the game today, you really wouldn't fancy being a bowler. Must be the two best batting lineups in the competition. Runs, runs and more runs. :D
