I'm really worried that McGrath was awarded the M.O.M yesterday. There was no fair reason for that judgement. He took only 2 wickets and they too were not very decisive. I think it was done to give him the Man of the Series award. Mahela was a threat to him. But McGrath is the clear leader now.

Hayden's played better then McGrath in this tournament. He performed against the top teams, not the non ICC playing nations.

LOL, Murali thinks Sri Lanka have a better batting lineup and that they can do to us what they did to England in 2006.

comments like these are the reason everybody wants the Sri Lankans to win. The results hardly a foregone conclusion when they have so many match winners in their team. Murali could win it on his own.

The past actually does. We have an enormous reputation coming into this match and i feel that Australia has been underated this World Cup but i guess tomorrow will determin the outcome of all this rubbish.

Did you watch the match? He troubled the batsmen, took 3 wickets and was economical too.

Whoever posted that comment has no clue and he got 3 wickets. McGarth had some of the best players in the world in trouble he beat the bat nearly every ball. I feel that it was well desverved the award.

Maybe past World Cups don't matter to this match, but this is far from a one-off match. Australia's form in this World Cup has been awesome. They are not just a great team but are also mentally strong from their past World Cup wins and from being undefeated in the lead up to this final. It's not a foregone conclusion, but Australia will be hard to beat.

If we win this World Cup, I will look forward to coming on here and going nuts, proving all the doubters wrong and proving that we are the best. I hope all the Aussie fans will join me.
