Good performance by WI, it looks like the series will be a lot close than first thought if they carry this form on.

I wonder why Powell didn't bowl in the second innings. He got 4 wickets in the first innings. If he bowled I think West Indies could have won the match.

He is not that good of a bowler, but his batting average (17 in Test and 20 in ODI) is quite handy.

I think QLD definitely missed him. He usually can chip in with a wicket when things aren't going his teams way. This was the case with WI.

Bichel is a great bowler for Queensland (see his past few First Class season stats), but what makes him a champion is that he would come in and get the toughest wickets (the guys who stood up to McGrath, in other words). From 8 matches for Australia against the West Indies, he has taken Brian Lara's wicket five times (by comparison, Shane Warne has also got Lara 5 times in 16 matches). While someone like McGrath or Lee would be used sparingly after the ball gets old, Bichel is the kind of player who can be successful bowling long spells against well set batsmen.

Also, he is loved by the Australian public for his genuine character.

I feel i need to comment on the awesome performance by Marlon Samuels. Ahh......thats my comment.
Lets see if he can keep this going into the coming Test Series.
