West Indies in Australia

Dam that Watson is useless right now. Symonds going brillantly. 6 maidens off 11 overs with 1 wicket.

Qld other all rounder - Chirs Simpson takes a wicket.

trust me anyone will get a game for aus if they play for QLD *cough* nathan haurwitz* cough*

Alot of people here are a bit harsh on some players, all it takes is one bad test or series and most of you bag out a player and say they don't deserve there spot. It's a sport and you can run in and out of form, just like any other sport.

ya watson is a one day player, also his back cannot take test cricket

If Watson actually performed as an all rounder then there would be no problem. But he is still yet to live up to his potential.

All those that thought WI would crumble may have to eat some humble pie.
WI currently 8/584 Samuels a huge 236 to go with Smith 115.

well so far they've got a great head start to the series and will go into the tests with confidence.

I wonder how many times Brian Lara has been part of a team that scored more than 600 in an innings without him contributing at least 50. My guess is very few.

good to see that the score was made without lara.
Expect to see some great batting displays by the windies in the series.

thats what we are all hoping, its been so disapointing seeing them go from world champions in the 80's with the scariest bowlers now are just medium pacers:( hopefully they can put up a big fight, and face warney

In the tour match
Qld 3/259(63 overs) Symonds 76*, Martin Love 103*
Hayden and Maher got starts while Watson capped off a shocking tour match with 6 runs.

Well that is quickly changed. It's now 343-8. Queensland has now advantage of 54 runs. Unless Queensland hold out till the end of the day, I expect West Indies to win.

Don't know how many overs are left.

And Powell didn't bowl a single ball in the second innings. Collymore didn't play in this match. I hope he will in the Test match.
