West Indies in Australia

do you want australia to be ranked below bangladesh or win? you have to give hussey and hodge a go, we need new blood but we can give old guys a shot glenn mcgrath is like 35 and going strong hussey is superbly fit and will be playing for a long long time
clarkes done hisback and he cant bowl/bat with a bad back. hussey can bowl last year he had the best bowling average! in domestic comp

we'll have to lose every match for like 5 years to be ranked below Bangladesh

And look what will happen once McGrath goes. We haven't found anyone cause we keep playing him. Thus once he goes we will have a huge void to fill. We will start losing. Same would happen if Hussey or Hodge were put ahead of Clarke. After a successful period Hussey and Hodge will retire, Clarke still none the wiser about what he needs to fix and we go into decline.

If Hussey and Hodge come in it should be to replace older guys. If you want to replace Clarke do it with another young guy.

Does this mean I have someone else on my side?

Definitely, I always look towards the future. I don't want to see Australia go down hill like WI did.

On the tour match Hayden bowler out for a duck after being given a life. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.
QLD 1/42 (11 overs) Love 10, Maher 24

Form for form, I don't think WI will be able to beat Queensland. Judging by their lineup, they are just looking for batting practice.
lol I just noticed, every player in Qld's top order has international level experience.
Maher dropped at square leg off a no-ball. Does this count as a quarter chance?

What, the dropped catches or the ducks for Hayden.

He was actually dropped on 0 from what I hear.

Latest Powell has ripped QLD apart. 4-58, Qld 243-8 with Le Loux and Johnson trying to rebuild. Le Loux seems handy with the bat. Can't wait to see how he goes when he bowls.

Australia have named their 12 man team to face the Windies.

Australia squad 1 Matthew Hayden, 2 Justin Langer, 3 Ricky Ponting (capt), 4 Michael Clarke, 5 Simon Katich, 6 Shane Watson, 7 Adam Gilchrist (wk), 8 Shane Warne, 9 Brett Lee, 10 Nathan Bracken, 11 Glenn McGrath, 12 Stuart MacGill.

Selectors need shooting, not one young player to Blood. Not even one. And no Hussey either, I would of preferred Hussey over Clarke this match, give clarke a little time to think.

Well you can't just throw random rookies into the Test team, it's not fair to the players who are breaking their back and excelling for years at First Class level without reward.

It's the best way to do it in my opinion, we can't keep playing older players.
