West Indies in Australia

Bracken probably, so McGrath Lee Warne Bracken Watson- meaning we've got 2 genuinely good bowlers, one guy who's in there only to sell WeetBix and one who's there out of sheer desperation for an all rounder. What a lineup :(

With any luck Huss and Kato make runs and they ditch golden boy Clarke for the next game, he's had a free ride for long enough

Too bad Langer is ruled out. I hope Hussey shows his potential here. Although I still would like to see Langer again in the Test matches. But he is a good prospect for the future.

I hope MacGill will get his chances in the next Test matches, since they will now choose for Bracken in the first match.

If you look at their careers so far, Clarke > Katich. Katich has just over 200 rusn more and has walked out to the centre 9 times more. Clarkes career test average of 38.81 > Katich's career test average of 37.05. Also Clarke's and Katich's ODI career averages of 42.79 and 32.07. The numbers point to Michael "Golden Boy" Clarke

leave my poor Kato Alone! hehehe

Clarke has a FC average of 39 compared to Katich's 49.71, was that conveniently forgotten? He shouldn't be playing Test cricket, ODI records are irrelevant. He has a terrible technique against genuine fast bowling and puts no value in his wicket, and is probably in a tie with Brett Lee as the most overrated players in Australia. His age is the only reason he's getting picked, while far more deserving players (Marto) get the boot for no good reason. A youth policy is all well and good, but actually justifying a place generally helps (ie. goodbye Clarke and probably Watson for the time being until you prove yourselves in domestic cricket)

HAHAHAHA

Eat that you Clarke haters..
You think an average of 38 (and falling) is any good?

I personally believe that Hussey is a better Test batsman than clarke,so in a fully fit side clarke shoudnt be in the team.

couldnt agree more after making those 2 debut 100s his been crowned the next best thing and his averaged 25 in series since those two!

Graeme Hick anyone?
And? He performed well at first class level, Clarke is just generally crap. By your logic he shouldn't need to perform at all to be picked?
