We would of been better off letting Katich open, and bring Hussey in down the order, just to take the pressure off him.

Possibly, if Jaques could copy Clarke then he would have done well. But he too may have got the nerves.
I have to agree Katich would have been better for the opening role given he has more experience.

Ya see, my problem is why bring in a 30 year old with no experience when we can bring in a 25 year old with no experience but can be there for 5 or so more years longer?

I have no problem with Hussey, he deserved his spot in the team, but he deserved it many many years ago. He now at the age of 30 has no experience at Test level, so why bother bringing him in when we can bring in a Jacques who will be there for alot longer then Hussey will be.

The selectors are the ones who have robbed Hussey, looking at his stats he should of been in the team 3-4 years ago, but now is not the time, its time for a Jacques or someone similar age and talent.
