West Indies in Australia

i reckon lara can beat tendulkar to most centuries ever hit in test cricket

Whenever Lara goes well the Windies go well. The way hes going 300 is on the cards from Lara alone.

McGrath gets his first wicket. You can take that 300 alone by Lara of the cards now.

i remember same thing happened with tendulkar when india toured aussies in 2003 he wasnt performing in the first 3 matches and then he scored a 241 in the 4th test

Congratulations to Lara on getting 200 in one day. :clap
Wonderful knock.

14 more runs for him to be the highest run scorer in test cricket.

You don't even have to mention Tendulkar as this is exactly what happened last time WI toured here. Lara was in all sorts of problems. Then in the 3rd game (i think it was) he hit a huge 100, may be even 200.

yes i know and the same thing happened to sachin. but with sachin he was either unlucky or had bad umpiring decisions

Dam McGrath dropped a sitter. I can imagine what the dressing room is going to be like for him. Can't play soccer, can't play hot potato :)

i was at the ground untill about an hour ago and that was a VERY entertaining day to be at. Lara is an absolute legend and he showed it perfectly today. i also thought symonds bowled quite well today.

Brilliant by Lara. Too bad i didn't see his 200. Damn Current Affairs!! But listened to it on the radio.

It was a great 200. Pull shot for 4 to take him from 196 to 200. There was a man out there but he was powerless to stop the boundary and Lara's 4.

And as I said McGrath dropped Powell and it was a sitter. Only excuse I would give him is the sun and the wind affecting the ball's direction.

Australia's fielding has been sub standard today, a number of extra runs were conceded, and 2 drop catches, 1 didn't cost Aus anything the other shouldn't cost them anything unless Lara can habour the strike.

Lovely knock by Lara, great stuff to watch. Windies on their way to the par score of 400 when batting first at Adelaide. Will be interesting to see if the Aussies can play a decent dead rubber match (hopefully not, I've got $20 on the Windies, Aussies never bring it in these matches). Absolutely no excuses for the Aussie batsmen on this pitch, against this attack.

No way I want to see the Aussies lose. A loss no matter why the reason is unaustralian like. Australia is all about winning, this is what got them to where they are.

Lara hits a double century!! And it's very quick one too. 202 runs from 266 balls. Australia have to work hard for their victory now.

Lara is back to his best, a great 200 by Lara when the chips were down, Lets hope the tailenders can support Lara tommorow.

Was a shame that he didn't earn it seeing his was given not out to a poor decision that was PLUMB!!!
