Replays showed the ball was 1/3 in the strike zone, and 2/3 outside of it. Now I don't know if that means it is in the zone or not but thats what I saw.
But either way Dar said it went down leg side : That clearly wasn't the case. Hawkeye said height was also a problem.

Cut down on some slack, it may be his second last innings here in australia. I think your the only one one the whole forum and probably the whole of Australia who would be arrogant and say that he didn't earn it.
I must say at first it did look quite plumb but after several replays and from feedback by commentators it appeared to pitch outside leg stump but i think hawkeye is wrong as it suggests that it was going over. Good decision by Dar in the end and finally Lara gets a decision which goes his way. Great to see the Aussie crowd enjoying Lara's innings and strongly applaude him as he reached 100 and then 200.

I agree that innings was not his best but it was one which he worked hard for. A lot of effort put into it and showed alot of determination while at the crease.

Lara played very well for his 200 but he won't be able to get 250 because there are only tailenders remaining.

Anything is possible, Thornely got 200+ with only MacGill around in the Pura cup match last year.

As long as Lara can keep the strike and the tailenders keep out any remaining deliveries then he is well on his way to 250.
