West Indies tour of New Zealand

Whats with the slow scoring? Excellent bowling or just good bowling with tough batting conditions etc?

well the WI bowlers are bowling a tight line, not giving the batsman much. Even Fidel Waywards is bowling a good line.

:help:help:mad::mad: wtf are Ramdin and Edwards thinking just call it and catch the ball. damn Ramdin you suck.

Gayle has brought himself on before he let Benn bowl. Luckily Flynn isn't that slow.

The funny thing would be that both teams will keep playing slow and on the final decisive day rain will ruin the match.

Excellent bowling mostly.

Jeez, what a shambles that was. McIntosh completely messes up a pull, ball balloons up. Edwards goes to catch it, to find Ramdin charging at the ball too. As if to confuse the situation further, everyone around kept shouting "catch it! catch it!", so the ball lands splat bang in between Ramdin and Edwards, almost nailing Edwards on the toe.

I'd say Ramdin was in the fault, the most, he should have called for it louder, and should have been more decisive. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and the chance went begging. To rub it in later, McIntosh pulls out a straigt drive, with the straightest of bats, I LOL'd. We probably will be waving goodbye to Ramdin.

We probably will be waving goodbye to Ramdin.

cant wave good bye to our VC now can we, WI made some dumb decisions in recent yeas but naming him VC takes the cake.

Expect a scuffle between Edwards and Ramdin during Tea.

Flynn hit two sixes in a row against Nash. That lightened things up.

From the times I've seen Ramdin captain, I can't remember when or whether he was the captain, but I do recall instances with him calling the shots, and he was pretty impressive whilst doing so. So, I don't know.

Flynn is about to get twice as much runs then McIntosh. McIntosh is playing like he wants to save a Test match.

Exactly why I think McIntosh is a dead-end selection. Sure, he can grind out some runs on a good pitch against an often innocuous attack, but against decent bowling, or on difficult pitches, even just against good fielding? He has no upside.

Finally a wicket and that of Flynn. Congrats to Edwards on his 100th wickets in test cricket. Now a couple more are needed in these remaining overs. Come on Windies.

It was overall a good day for the Kiwis, they first quickly mopped up the Caribbean tail, thanks to a fine spell from O'Brien and then McIntosh and Flynn ensured that they were in a position of strength by close of play.

Because of the slow play there is a possibility there won't be any result. McIntosh is on 99 runs, but he really took his time. And he finally reaches his century with a four.

na NZ are in complete control of this test. They will have a big lead by the time the day is up and might even bat some tomorrow. Than they can just leave it to Vettori to get the WI batsman out.

yeh i cant see nz loosing from here
ryder was lookin so good
just threw it away
ah well
mcintosh playing really well

and Ramdin drops another catch. wow I thought this guy was a good keeper but he is sucking it up big time.

HAHAHA what was that McCullum walks down the track as normal Powell does not like that so throws the ball at him. No ball called
