West Indies tour of New Zealand

Chattergoon, OUT,NZ in command here,4 wickets in 1st session! If they get Chanderpaul out quickly it will be more easy for them....

Well, just after I read your message Chattergoon hit a four.

And two balls later Vettori gets him out. West Indies are at 74-4 and are in trouble.

lol before the match Gayle was saying he wants the lower order to bat better. How about the middle order Chris?

Really top class catch there. had just over half a second to get his hands 30 cm above his head and take that. The west indies are in a bit of trouble now.

1st session belongs to NZ,if they get 2-3 wickets in next session cheaply they have good chances of winning test here (though its too early to say,but the way they have played 1st session says that (at least for now)),a very good bowling performance here....

New Zealand all over the West Indies batsman like a rash. Chanderpaul is the key as always. The WI batting revolves around him.

Confirms my views that WI are horrible against spin bowling (Chanderpaul aside) and that they are impatient.

Patel was a great selection and has bowled fantastic. O'Brien has been in top form and has been bowling pretty quick too. He's really been putting the effort in. He's proven himself time and time again this year. What a spell of bowling. Vettori's wicket was a typical case of genius from himself throwing the ball up and attacking and what a catch at second slip from How.

NZ well on top. Hopefully that catch gives How some confidence and he can hit a hundred. Heck i'd even take a half century from him. Pitch looks a belter so no reason why he can't and NZ can't post a good score.

NZ catching and fielding (aside from the close run out throw) has been top class.

I was expecting Marshall to get out to spin bowling since he cant play it at all but I didn't expect it from the Guyana players. They are probably the best players of spin in the Caribbean but sucked it up big time in this test.

Currently West Indies have a 73 runs partnership. It's going slow, but it's better to be slow then get out quickly. Chanderpaul is about to reach another fifty.

Yeh, it doesn't matter how slow they are going atm. It's a valuable partnership. Chanderpaul is in top form.

Chanderpaul and Nash building WI inngs slowly, both reached their 50's,though their strike rate is low, they have fought well...

congrats to both guys on their 50s, really good stuff. Nash maiden test 50. these guys need to play out the day.

well Nash is out but a great innings from him. 74 with 12 fours, some great shots he played and good support for Shiv just what the WI needed.
Not long left in the day, if Ramdin gets out he needs to go home right now no need to stay and play the rest of the tour.

and he gets out. boy does this guy suck, and the WI name him the VC. what a freaking disaster. leaves a straight ball, the 11th man could have played it better than him. bring in Fletcher to play the ODIs and send this guy to some academy or something like that.

and congrats to Shiv on another century. :happy:clap:clap
your the man shiv
