West Indies tour of New Zealand

looks like they feel the same way, they aren't being as aggressive and are just taking singles. unless Gayle is somehow bothering them.

It seems that New Zealand has given it up. The wicket decision of McCullum proves to be crucial.

And it's a draw. Bad end to this Test match.

yea got to say the last decision kind of ruined the series but it was good cricket. the 20/20s and ODIs should be real good.

That was so weird, how did he give that out, even after the replays? Wow.

So finally the series is drawn,Man of Match went to Chris Gayle for his stunning knock of 197.The next match Twenty20 International is on Boxing day..

Well, an interesting end to the test match with New Zealand going all out for the victory, scoring at a decent pace for most part of the innings. How, Taylor and Ryder played well but it was McCullum's wicket that proved crucial, otherwise things could have been different. For West Indies, Gayle would be happy with the effort of their bowlers in this Test. His innings in the second innings was the saving grace, without which the Windies might have lost this Test. The series ends drawn at 0-0, the first match was drawn due to incessant rain.

Can't believe McCullum was still given out even though there was no way he hit that ball, he looked pretty pissed after being given out a second time. The bowler Jerome Taylor barely even appealed either which makes it even more of a joke.

For NZ unless Jamie How improves alot I can't see him being in the team much longer, and I don't think Franklin should be in the team either. His batting isn't up to international level.

First ODI team:

1.Brendon McCullum (WK)
2.Jesse Ryder
3.Daniel Flynn
4.Ross Taylor
5.Scott Styris
6.Jacob Oram
7.James Franklin
8.Daniel Vettori
9.Tim Southee
10.Kyle Mills
11.Chris Martin

Hopefully he can bowl by then. He was 95% going to play in this test so he should be right by now.

I agree with that team Howsie. If Thompson or Gillespie bowled really well in the Twenty/20's i'd consider them for a bowling spot though. Only change i'd make is Patel at 11 over Martin.

I agree with most of that side but, Jamie How shouldn't be dropped from the ODI side because his form in that side of the game is quite good. Franklin shouldn't be anywhere near the ODI side, because he just bowls a whole lot of pies that gets carted all around the ground. I would probably give Thompson a shot and probably drop Martin for How

Franklin doesn't need to bowl 10 overs in that side, with Martin, Mills, Southee, Vettori and Oram. Franklin wasn't THAT bad.

I semi-agree about How, but he's not in the Twenty/20 side so I presume he's dropped anyhow.

I would like to see a few changes in the WI ODI squad. Mainly Ramdin being dropped but since he is the VC that probably wont happen.

I would go with something like this.

Gayle
Marshall
Sarwan
Chanderpaul
Nash
Pollard
Baugh +
Taylor
Benn
Baker
Edwards

Might as well give Baugh a chance since there is no way he can do worse that Ramdin. I don't think that Nash is made for the ODI style of game but since he did so good in the Test series he deserves a spot. If not Nash than Shawn Findlay. Edwards should be a big boost for the team, they missed him big time in the ODIs against Pakistan.

Its going to be tough to pick the winner but I back the Windies.

Expecting either 1-1 or 2-0 in the T20 to be honest. NZ just suck at T20 for some reason. Something like 7 wins from 16 games
