What games have you been playing recently?

Yeah not too bad. Bit too easy a bit too quickly. If people want a fun tennis game that plays on any PC and they have a controller they can use, they should have a look for a Snes emulator and grab the Super Tennis rom.

Not 100% sure on the legality of it mind, but it's still one of the most complete tennis games ever made.

Might have to check this one out. I keep getting Virtua Tennis and giving myself an uppercut when their obvious arcade game isn't magically a sim for once. Had one on the PC from about '91-'93 back in the day and still have fond memories of how challenging it was.

Only played about 20 mins of LA Noire so far, will get back to it at some point when I'm in the right mood.

Picked up Mount and Blade, Fire and Ice and Warband on special last month and haven't made in past the first one yet. Thought it felt very much like a TES-Pirates! hybrid and sure enough they were the inspiration.

Made it to Day 240 (lots of getting dragged around as prisoner) and got jack of my heroes doing the barney and realised I pissed away a few skill points, so I started over. Pretty much surpassed where I was by Day 75 in the second run and planned out the best combo of heroes and what they should focus on, so pretty much kicking ass now.

Doesn't affect me, I've never prestiged in any cod game, and don't intend to on bo2 either.

Yeah I've been tempted to jump to it a few times, think I've got my two bucks fifty worth out of the original by now. Hopefully my cavalry will be a bit smarter so I can stop yelling "get out of the tweaking road!" as they cut me off from making another perfectly timed melon busting slash

Still one of my finest gaming moments the first time I was just one part of an army of 200 slowly making my way up into a castle siege with my shield up and arrows raining down around me. For the Nords!

Exams finally finished so I'm gonna fiend on Far Cry and Skyrim for the next week.

Once I've completed Far Cry I'll probably get Ni no Kuni. Looks ace from the videos.

Reminds me that I left my second character (first is always a write off and spends most of his time being hauled around as a prisoner) somewhere down South after a particularly successful time hunting out the various competitions to increase my fame and fortune.

Still one of my finest gaming moments the first time I was just one part of an army of 200 slowly making my way up into a castle siege with my shield up and arrows raining down around me. For the Nords!

Just in the process of conquering the Nords right now I'm liking their lack of cavalry, the Khergits were a bit of a pain to wipe off the map.

I joined the Rhodocks in my first game, imagining them as Holland and Swadia as Germany, so conquered them. Second run I decided the orange of Swadia made more sense as Holland, and imagined the Rhodocks as Belgium Plus I wanted to help Lady Suno claim the throne.

Gonna move on to Warband once the Nordic empire is dealt with. Vaegirs are already weak after constant warring with the Nords and Rhodocks and still feel some allegiance to the Rhodocks, so will leave them be.

The tournaments are the easiest way to make cash I think, especially at the beginning, so have been chasing those constantly too.

Well I do have quite a few Nord Huscarls in my army and garrisoned in my castle and towns I think it was Lezalit that recommended Vaegir marksmen, Khergit horse archers, Nord warriors, Swadian knights and Rhodok sergeants and sharpshooters, so that's how I roll. The horse archers seem to die often, but the rest I have in abundance.

Heh what you rocking yourself? Sword and shield, big two handed greatsword or something with a bit more finesse like a lance? I presume you're not like one of those Khergit losers who rides a horse and uses a bow?

Haha Cruising on a heavy hunter with a balanced heavy bastard sword I think I'm using now and shield. Then a war bow with the 34 khergit or bodkin arrows. Usually fire a bunch off as I ride head on into them, or hany for taking out their marksmen when sieging. Definitely need the bow when chasing down those khergit bastards on coursers too.

Such an awesome feeling when you take out their horse at high speed, whip your sword out and off with their head as they try to stand
