What games have you been playing recently?

Have never played a GTA game.
If there was ever a certificate needed to be called as a gamer, it would be the qualifications needed for playing atleast one GTA game IMO.

Even if you manage to play all the game available except for GTA, it would still not give you enough joy as compared to it. Do pickup one or two, SA, Vice City and GTA IV are all worth a try. It's a complete package. Whenever a GTA game is released, it's a definite GOTY winner (not even contender). I don't know what's keeping you away from GTA but it has got everything a gamer would demand.

What a load of absolute tosh.

----------

Or was it twaddle. To make it easier we'll just call it Twosh.

Far Cry 3.

The Shredder.

It's like I just put the game on easy mode :p

I've had GTA III on PC for the last ten years. Never thought to play it.

I'll play GTA V though.

Not if you view games as an art-form.

There's no one game you need to have played to be considered a 'gamer' - be it GTA or the one that really started the whole sandbox thing, Elite. ;)

I did intentionally put a IMO in the end for a reason :P

I just wanted to say that almost every gamer have played a GTA even for a causal gamers. I have friends who are never into gaming but even they have played atleast a GTA. Don't want to explain more because I guess you got it what I want to say here.

Fair enough, hence I've edited my post. ;)

I remember playing the first GTA as a kid and giggling uncontrollably at the fart button.

It's advanced quite a bit as a gaming medium in the current console generation.

Oh yeah, the fart button - that was really funny back then. :)

Just been playing Dead Island again and I was wondering whether any of you guys playing on PC have tried playing with an Xbox 360 pad with 'analogue fighting'? The game's great playing the default way, but this just makes it ten times better. Remember EA's boxing control method in the Fight Night games? It's a bit like that - really makes you feel like you're caving in the side of a zombie's head! As well as that, it adds some skill to the fighting and makes it tougher as well.

Finished Far Cry 3, definite Game of the Year, nothing close.

About to start Assassin's Creed III but I doubt it'll match Far Cry 3.

I saved my friends, very good ending. Saw the Join Citra ending and that was bloody awful, I made the right choice:D.
