Your Cricket What position do you play?

I'm my club and school team's opening bowler. I normally bat at 11 or 10, but I am sometimes used to open as a Pinch Hitter in 20/20! My highest score is 61, although I was dropped 4 times and bowled off a no-ball!

I open Batting for Richmond Premier team, in BC Canada.
I've played against ppl who play on the Canadian national team. (Honey Dhillon, and Kevin Sandher)
Kevin Sandher is probably Canada's 2nd best spin bowler, when i played agaisnt Mariloma's (his team) I scored 51, facing atleast 5 overs from Kevin Sandher :D

some day i hope to play for canada :)
Im playing BC U19 right now :happy

I Can bowl tidy leggies, but my captain decides not to use me at the level i play at. Id bowl if i played div 2, but not div 1 and premier...

Fielding is decent, good at stopping the balls, and a fast runner, but horrible at catching...i usually field at square leg, or fine leg.

I generally open or come at No 3 when playing for my club.I Do Not bowl that often and i'm a slip fielder.

In the u/16s i open the batting and the bowling and i back-up keep (i never get bored) and in the 2nds I bowl first change and bat at no.6, but they dont let me keep :(

I do not play anymore and when I did my team rotated every week. So I batted at every position. We tried an order once. I batted 11th :) and bowled Off Spin and Leg Spin In the 2nd Spell.
My Stats (In 2 Seasons together)-
Batting- 91 runs at 7.14 HS 12*
Bowling- 21 wickets at 7.42 Best Bowling 2 for 1

I played for Poverty Bay U13's when I was 10 and batted at number 8 (Poverty Bay was the city I lived in.) I trailed for Northern Districts Under 15's recently unfortunately didn't make it (But my cousin did :crying) I played for a local club last year and did a bit of spin bowling and batted number 4 however my wicket keeping talents weren't discovered until the end of the season. Currently I keep switching between my schools 3rd and 2nd XI batting between 3 and 6. HS 31* BB 4-21.

Hm after re-reading this, I feel that this makes me sound a bit too full of myself...

Nah. You're not full of yourself. Sounds like you're a good cricketer. good stats

In School Cricket, I am captain, bat 3 and open the bowling. In juniors (U 15's) club we rotate the order every week, but I usually get to bat at 3. In rep cricket last season I batted 9 and this season in seniors I have batted 11.

Specialist fielder.

Batting average of 0.2 for the season, and I've bowled 5 overs 1/36.

This thread is like 3 years old! When I played 3 years ago in school Cricket, we basically fielded anywhere, it was pretty funny how unorganised we were compared to other teams yet we still won the School Cricket that year. I remember taking 4 wickets in like 7 balls and three of the catches went to a guy at short cover, glad I wasn't fielding there because I'm pretty sure I would've dropped a few.

I bat at 5/6 for my clubs 2nd team as well as occasionally bowling some left arm legspin

I play Premier Reserves for my local,
haven't played second half of this season cos of injuries, sucks..

Had a bad season so far anyway.
4 innings 4 runs. All of which where edges to slips and point.

Did average in the field. Few catches, and didn't let too many runs past me..

Open the batting in the 2s, didn't make too many though this season. Top score of 32
