Pakistan do have a women's team. They didn't qualify.

There isnt much help for women cricket in pakistn,Because you dont see women playing in the streets like boys normally do,SO I think pakistan has to put in some effort into making a better pakistan women cricket team,They have good facilities but they should have coaching for women, they should have cricket coaches for women in pakistan :D

they didnt qualify?
this is shocking:)
Not really shocking if you knew just how bad the Pakistan women's team were at ODI cricket. They only have 2 wins against Test playing opposition.

Group Stage - Round One

England 169 for 7 (Gunn 40*) v Australia - No result
South Africa 204 for 7 (Fritz 48) v Ireland - No Result
New Zealand 178 for 8 (Lewis 77) v West Indies - No Result
Sri Lanka 116 v India 4 for 0 - No Result

Rain severely disrupted the opening day of the 2005 World Cup, with all four matches washed out after heavy rain lashed Pretoria. There are no reserve days in the opening group matches and so all teams will receive three points.

Anyway I'm not bothered about woman's cricket.

Just wanted to say what Kris Srikanth once said before-Women are not fit for cricket.Cricket is totally a men's game.

I beleive that too.

I saw a few overs of Ind vs Aus woman's cricket &it was crappy.

Sorry to hurt the feelings of some of u here.

This is what I feel.

Isn't it great to see sexism alive and well? (That's sarcasm by the way)

I'm disgusted by this attitude. Not only is it first class bigotry, but it also shows ignorance on your part. You're judging the entire women's game on a few overs? Pathetic.

And as far as I'm concerned, a true cricket fan cares about all forms of the game.

nice very nice

I'm not a true cricket fan.I'm a fan of Indian cricket.

I watch other matches rarely.

lol...If Srikanth was a member of this forum he would have got a lot of negative reps...lol..lol...lol...

Absolutely agree with Andrew on this score.

Nobody is forcing you to watch women's cricket matches if you don't enjoy them, but you should atleast not deride them like that.

I think whoever wants to play cricket should play cricket. Personally I don't mind that women play cricket because sometimes when there was no one in the house I had to play cricket with my sister. :P Anyhow--women's cricket is still a sport in the developing stages and thus it is not as exciting as the men's form. I am sure in a few years, taking into account that most of the world isn't as single-minded as bharat, the women's game will be quite interesting.
