1st semi final: England vs Australia

Great move by Ponting to bring Siddle back. And another great catch by Paine who proves Chappell wrong once again. Another Pom makes a start then gets out.

Chapple was dissing his keeping last match although more about praising Haddin.

Watson straying a bit too much onto the pads, think hes getting his line mixed up between the left and right handers.

Chappell talks a lot of ████. Going on about how batsman must use their manners towards their umpire and how he did it back in 1968.

And there's the pressure. A slow passage of play, some good nibble from the bowlers, too. Eventually, Denly, dulled like a bee under smoke, just gives it away.

Hopes is having a ████ day. Took that catch at the start but besides that he's been terrible.

And an incredible attempt to get out by Morgan. I'd like to pretend he didn't just do that.

One more wicket lost before the 40th over and we're gonna mess this up.

Jesus, i wish i had not of said that, 30 seconds later and another is down. :rtfl

Denly in then out again :doh

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe Denly should get a bit more time in County Cricket and we give Cook a go at the top of the order again. He seems to do well for Essex. Maybe when Straussy goes, Denly can then replace him???

Nice ball, I said he was getting good nibble. They were saying there's no seam movement, but you only need to get it to go two inches.

What about replacing Prior with Davies and getting him to open with Strauss. Then you would probably look to bring someone like Trott in for Denly.

Watson deserved that wicket he helped steady the ship after the wayward overs from Hopes and Johnson.

Poms crumbling under pressure. Great bowling from Watson is rewarded. He's been very impressive today.
