1st Test: England v Australia

How would a foreign player now given they haven't played in the Ashes, if you aren't English or Aussie you can never feel the full awesomeness of the Ashes.

Its the history. It was the first time Australia and England fully went at it and that was back in 1882. Australians and Brits get it and I think we've slightly infected the Kiwis as well, given that they get a wide range of sports coverage from Australia.

In 1882 it was the pinnacle of cricket and 127 years later it still is. Millions of ranting Poms and Aussies can't be wrong!

Its enough to make you want to go and have a beer.
 
I always think the Ashes are one of the best places to watch the game, a chance to see full length games, played by some of the most respected players in the world. Obviously, I speak as a Brit, but still... :p

And back to forum topic, I reckon they're saving Harmison for the last three, or they really don't trust him, which doesn't bode well for us now that Flintoff's going...
