1st Test: England v Australia

Hopefully Prior'll get a few. Love watching him bat, most aesthetically pleasing batsman in the England side for me, now that Bell's gone anyway. Ravi's normally nice to watch, but today he was in horrible form.

He's been on the international scene for nearly 5 years now and still some people haven't grasped onto the fact that it's PietersEn.

Colly you twat; I go out for a couple of hours and we do fine. Then I come back just to see the partnership broken

And we have the first dodgy umpiring decision for the Ashes 09. Now that is a ball Hilfy should bowl more.

That’s why I said earlier on the ICC should really get rid of this neutral umpire policy. Decisions like that can affect games. Big series like this really should have the best umpires in the world

That little poke at the ball was nice, it was very much like Bell :p

Cover drive on the up and the flick through the leg-side were nice as well =] Can't see why Prior shouldn't succeed against the best, he's very good technically, and as I said earlier, I believe he's the best batsman-keeper since Stewart.

Agree probably is time. Although with the referral system coming in October we should see a drop in these errors allowing the ICC to kept their neutral policy.

If only Siddle was a bit faster, Prior might have missed that.

About that KP decision by the way; Umpires don't get to see all the replays we get and they only get the one live instance of it. And in this case it looked like KP hit the ball live so you can understand why he didn't give it.

But at the end of the day, you'll still win 5-0.

I wonder how many guys in the Sky team could spell his name right ;)

Siddle is starting to get some very nice swing.

Well lets hope the referral system doesn't waste too much time. Why aren?t they using it for this series?
