IPL 9th Match: Chennai Super Kings v Delhi Daredevils

We're in for a treat here.Sehwag and Gambhir batting...Oh just wow. It'll be different for me to want them get out soon.As I said before Chennai stick with 'Crap'inder Sharma and go with an unchanged lineup.

Don't worry Ben, you shouldn't miss Hayden batting, CSK fielding first.

King Pietersen added 7 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

Lol. Told ya. Gambhir gone first ball. Lazy leave that. Warner would have flayed that over midwicket for six tbh.

This is ridiculous. Some stupid Rugby League show is on and the IPL won't be on for 2 hours. =/

What are you talking about? It's on at 9pm.

Anyway... Delhi is a rabble. You aren't going to get anyway when you've got no hopers like Salvi and Sangwan taking a superstar like Glenn McGrath's spot.

Sehwag's gone as well, awful innings really. 2 players at the crease with very average T20 records now. Both talented batsmen, but not proven themselves to be good T20 players yet. Warner should have been in the side.

Ben, it wasn't a choice between Dilshan and McGrath. If they'd picked McGrath ahead of Dilshan they'd have had no batting, their batting is not the strongest as it is, so with another batsman out they'd have been shocking.

Horror start. Chennai are stronger batting-wise, so they need to get some runs on the board.

Sehwag, Gambhir, AB de Villiers, Tiwary and Dinesh Karthik? =/

If they had just those 5 in this game they'd be screwed. De Villers, Tiwary and Karthik will not make consistent big scores on their own. Good batsmen, but you can't have a side with just 4 proper batsmen. Karthik's a very average T20 batsman as well, so they'd be relying on Sehwag, Gambhir, De Villiers and an inexperienced batsman in Tiwary. Not enough batting.

Dilshan is looking good here so looks like Warner won't be getting a game for a while.
Don't think I have ever seen a player get out like Gamhir very strange and Sehwag looked like he was going to get out any second.
Bit surprised Nannes was kept but today could be his on day.

Ok, maybe picking Dilshan was a good choice :p Hitting the ball beautifully.

Jeremy Coney is a legend. Fact.

Good 50 by Dilshan, 24 balls good effort that. Looks to have the measure of all the bowlers right now.
