Shoaib Malik

One of the most versatile players of the modern game, Shoaib Malik's inclusion gives my middle order strength and boosts the team in the field. He can bat at any position in the XI, perform with the ball, and do whatever is asked of him.
Basically:
Love the pick. My favorite Pakistani batsman for sure. His stats don't do his talent justice. He has been everywhere in the Pakistan line up, yet still manages to provide runs. His offspin while not as good as it used to be, still can take wickets and control the runs. He can also play according to the situation of the match. Blazing innings or a controlled knock. He is very good at pacing out his innings, and a sharp runner between the wickets.

1. Vijay Merchant
2. Vinoo Mankad
3. Shoaib Malik (for now)
4. GR Viswanath
5. Aravinda de Silva
6.
7. Kapil Dev
8. Wasim Akram
9.
10.
11. Bishan Singh Bedi

His spot in the XI.

It wasn't my best pick, thinking for a second more I just found a player that would've been a 100x better, i'll get him next time around. Malik does add alot of versatility though.

There are way too many people in this draft. We should be aiming for a round a day in any other draft, but with all the time zone problems we barely get 3 picks in.

Wow, this draft moves soooooooooooooo fast!!!!!!!!!!

It moves so fast it seems as if its not moving at all...

maybe we need to change the 24 hr rule to like, 12 hours.

But why, it's already moving at the speed of light...

Yeah, 12 hours sounds good. Wasn't for it initially because of school but this draft moves so very slowly...

12 hours is issue. I sleep for 10 hours.

He's a good player. And there aren't many number 3's to chose from.

Yeah but that still doesn't make it a good pick. Number 3 isn't a specialist position in the same way the opening ones are, and even if it was, Malik isn't a no. 3 in Tests. The fact you took so long to make such an ordinary pick is infuriating. :p
