Mark Nicholas:Hello and welcome to the After Match Presentation. I Have with me the captain of Australia Ricky Ponting. Now Ricky were you happy with your performance?
Ricky Ponting:Well yes and no. Parts of it were good and others were bad like our batting in the last innings but all credit to England they palyed really well and if there was anymore time they probarly would have won
Mark Nicholas:I'll do a two in one here. The man of the match is captain Andrew Flintoff for his 4 wickets and 149. Now Andrew first of all lets talk about the teams performance. Do you think you did well?

Pitch There has been alot of recent rain lately so the pitch is a wet one and so is the outfield. The ball won't bounce that much and will be a even pitch for both batting and bowling
Australia If an oportunity arrises they must grab it. They won't get any second chances and must avoid batting collapses like in there 2nd innings of there last test. It will begin with a strong opening partnership and new opener Jaques must score some runs
England Must win. If they win this match they will win retain the Ashes even if they lose the next one. Must make the most of there chances and every player must give 110%. There bowlers will look to target the new batsmen as they did last week, making the Australians look vulnrable early
Mark Nicholas:I'm here in the middle of the MCG where nearly 90,000 people have come to watch. I got here the 2 captains who about to toss the coin. Andrew Flintoff calls heads and heads it is. Now Andrew what are you going to do?
Andrew Flintoff:Were going to have a bat Mark because we belive its a good pitch for making runs and we want to set the standard for the rest of the match
Mark Nicholas:Thanks for that Andrew. I now have Australian captain Rikcy Ponting. Ricky you were going to bat I suppose?
Ricky Ponting:Yes Mark but I'm not dissaponted in having a bowl and letting our bowlers rip so hopefuly Pigieon and Binga can snare the top orders wickets and then let Taity at the middle and lower order
Mark Nicholas:Thanks Ricky. We'll be back soon for the first session of play

Nassar Hussain:Well our performance wasn't up to scratch today the only one who really contributed was Andrew Flintoff and maybe Paul Collingwood
