Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor: Hello and welcome to "After Stumps" I'm Mark Taylor and alongside me is Ian Chappel. Now Ian what did you think about today?

Ian Chappel: Well it clearly went in favour of Australia. They played beautifuly and Jaques proved his selection in the team by making that brilliant double hundred

Mark Taylor: Speaking of Phil Jaues here he is. Congratulations on that double hundred. It doesn't get much better than that

Phil Jaques: Yes well today was just one of those days where I was seeing the ball like a beachball

Ian Chappel: Do you think you'll be in the World Cup squad?

Phil Jaques: Well first of all I think I need to play in the up coming One Day series to prove that I do belong in the squad but then I need to continue my form in The Ford Ranger Cup

Mark Taylor:Thanks Phil. We are now joined by Duncan Fletcher, coach of England. Now Duncan what went wrong today?

Duncan Fletcher: Well our bolwing wasn't up to scratch today and there was a few misfields but really I though that the Australians were to good for us and that really showed today

Ian Chappel: What do you go to do tommorow?

Duncan Fletcher: We need to go out there and take early wickets and hopefully restrict Australia to under 450 then go out and bat and make a big score

Mark Taylor: Thanks Duncan. Thats al we have time for. We'll see you next time on "After Stumps"
