England took advantage of the pacey wicket at Perth by settlign at Lunch with a 100 partnership. M.Trescothick went to the pavillion at Lunch on 52 not out with his partner close behind on 40. Theres been little success for the Prime Ministers XI although the pitch has shown signs of early turn and bounce which will mopre than likely worsen.

D.Gower- England defiently taken the advantage and those big runs Vaughan was asking for is looking likely.

Nicely presented - it would be nicer if you could make the font in the pictures a bit more interesting.

But so far a nice start.

D.Gower- England currently scoring roughly 100 runs a session at around 4 an over. Thsi definetly pus them in a situation where they can get runs and win the match giving the bowlers a good test.

Prime Ministers XI strike with 3 wickets

Englands hopes of finishing in full control were dashed when they lost 3 quick wickets in the final session. Trescothick was the first to go and Vaughan shortly followed. However a 50 partnership between Collingwood and Pietersen made it appear they had taken full control. However a dubious decision in the final over saw Pietersen depart for 48.

D.Gower- England still in a commanding position but the loss of Pietersen in the last over puts the Ministers XI with some hope. But if Flitnoff can get a big score along with collingwood 600 looks a possibility.
M.Trescothick- In the 90's i must say i thought i had bagged myself a century but once the field came in i went after the first wide delivery and edge it on. Poor shot but form wise it was a good innings.

M.Vaughan- My first game with England for nearly a year and i loved every moment. Would have been nice to hav escored a few more but i think as a team we're in control. If Fredie and Coll can put some runs on it could be curtains for the Ministers XI.

Probably englands most important session since the first day. With the loss of the wickets the previous day it became paramount that they retain as many wickets as possible this morning. Luckily a in-form Collingwood was there to finish on 99 not out at lunch. He was strongly assisted by Flintoff who pushed forward a quick 40 to finsihed england in a strogn position on day two at lunch.

D.Gower- England have suceeded in not losing a wicket this morning therefore if they do the same in the next session, 600 is almost certain.

wow..great batting from England!!!
