Mark Wood actually scored quite a few runs on an A tour last winter, and a few cricket journalists were talking him up as a potential bowling all rounder. He's definitely got some nice shots in the locker.

If England go on to win this match, is there any point in risking Jimmy for the final test? I'd rather he was fully fit for the UAE, where we'll need him big time.

I can see Mark Wood developing into a Flintoff sort of player - Not quite a genuine all-rounder, but big hitting when required. I can certainly see him moving up the order (that said, "the tail" is currently "Finn").

I think he's better than Broad.

Aus have started really well, but England have just too big a lead. Aus would have to score 550 in the second innings atleast to have any chance. DOn't see it happening, but having said that, if AUs to pull off a 550 score, it could well be good enough for a win.

Long long way to go still.

NO BALL for sure !!

Yup no ball given ... have to say though, that the Joe Root take was one of the most awkward looking catching I have seen.[DOUBLEPOST=1438956743][/DOUBLEPOST]What the hell was that appeal all about. He missed the ball by miles. No where near the bat.

Must be horrible for the bowlers now the umpires basically never call no balls. They don't find out theyre bowling them until they take a wicket and then the umpires put in the extra effort of checking.

Interesting appeal that one, I wasn't focusing that much and thought I heard something initially but that was one heck of a gap! :D[DOUBLEPOST=1438957073][/DOUBLEPOST]Joe Root seems to do everything at the moment, will be see him coming on to bowl shortly?
