Ashes Cricket General Discussion

Quick question about if my Mac could run the game once I use bootcamp.

Specs are:

2.5GhZ Intel Core i7
16GB DDR3 RAM
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB

Would this run academy or will issues occur?

is it a MacBook or Mac desktop?

i ran dbc17 academy and game on low settings on an 8gb mac air. so i guess that one will do better.

2017 Macbook Pro and I maxxed out the options haha. Did it run smoothly on low settings?

not initially, and it would overheat quickly in the full game.

but i guess they optimised it better during the multiple patch process because it was running much better at the end than the beginning!

The two main issues that I'd see are the Iris graphics which are a lot lot better than most integrated graphics but put a load on the CPU (and memory, but you've got 16 gigs so there's plenty of RAM available) and that might be an issue. The other problem over time would be the usual laptop gaming issue of heat causing the processor to thermally throttle, but if it works with other games with similar specs then I'd be confident that it would work.

No England stadiums then :(

Did Ashes 13 have stadiums from both the countries?
