Lynching WC now gets us nowhere. If he's Mafia or the SK, we're good, but if he isn't it's a bad idea to do blindly. He won't defend himself and it won't give us a read on any players as he won't defend himself, since he probably doesn't know what defend means. We will go into the next day with perhaps as low as just three Mafia with no read on who else could be Mafia.

Hence why we at least need to go after other people. If we conclude that after going after a couple of people we are still unsure on who to lynch, then we can lynch off WC. Until then though he is a nothing player and we should go after players who are competent and have a proper grasp of the language.

I'm surprised an experienced player like you, Manly, wasn't able to connect the dots and realise this.

I think he's saying that by hiding things, Varun makes himself more likely to be killed by the Mafia.

I ain't very useful though. And ironically, it was you and CG who made me 'clarify' myself. Is such a strong defense from CG (first post, pg 14) even needed?

the_don has to be a townie from now. Swirler, Simon, RPHKR have been posting, but null reads on them and I haven't noticed anything expressive in their posts. WC is either an innocent, inexperienced town or a sacrifical mafia lamb to divert attention. Manly, leaning mafia based on his posts, but then again it's his style. CG leaning town, but not sure and certainly not letting my guard down. Ste is null as well, he always plays smart but a bit disoriented a times and I'm not really sure.

Yes, because CG was contributing a lot along with swirler and hence it seems odd that you would come out and go for him, I'd argue that's poor play from you as if you had a result in the night there's not reason to reveal straight away in such an untimely manner.

I still feel that RPHKR is one of the most suspicious at the moment, so my lynch will stay until he proves himself otherwise. Plus it doesn't help that he hasn't posted much since. I probably over reacted to his post about mafia, given that Varun is clearly hiding something, and if town won't be lasting much longer.

Wow! he actually posted something that is constructive, and adds to the discussion.

It was equally good that simon has posted, if both of these continue to add, it makes it much harder for the mafia & serial killer to hide.

Ste & Manly may be busy, but it just seems like there not contributing enough when they do come online.

CG123 comes-on and immediately pushes everyone, plus makes some good points.

thedon5 is actively investigating, collecting information, and is the least likely to be mafia or SK at the moment.

I really wanted to hear from RPHKR, so it's pretty frustrating that he hasn't posted anything since I was last on.

Re Varun, I did find it pretty weird how he just said my name and then didn't want to say anything else. It could've been a plan or something to try and draw the attention away from someone else at the time/try and get protection tonight when he doesn't need it. I guess we'll need to wait until tomorrow and see how that unfolds overnight though.

Re Ste he's kind of in the same boat as Varun for me. He's said a few times that he's got an idea of what's going on but wants to wait until tomorrow before posting it, again does he knows he's not going to die overnight etc? Manly's continued to not offer much. Like Ste he's more than happy just to take the easy way out and take a punt on WC/don't lynch anyone at all. They both appear to know more than they're posting, so hopefully in time that will come out and help us get somewhere.

Swirler was on my radar at the beginning of the day but he seems to have sided with thedon now who like a few others have said has without doubt been doing the most analysis etc. Whether he's playing a blinder as mafia though again I just don't know, although atm he's the last person who I'd suspect.

Don't really have anything else to add re Simon. Very much a null read atm between an inexperienced player and someone trying to play under the radar and just go with the flow.

What both ste and Manly know is that they don't have to post anything as they won't get lynched as others are playing worse and also they aren't playing well enough to get killed at night either.

I'm quite certain I'll be the one killed tonight though.

Just two points really and you'll all roll your eyes because it isn't game-worthy, but I post on my phone a lot of the time, so whilst it may say I'm viewing the thread for ages, I'm actually long gone. Secondly I'm currently out my arse after night 2 of a 4 night bender so my face hurts.

24 hours? Come on. We put in three lynches on a guy and he doesn't even post for two days. With the lack of activity here we need another 48 hours minimum.
