Asia Cup 2008

well bdesh just needs shahadat and reza to be a bit economical.. they always destroy the game by giving off more than 8 runs an over..

i hope bangladesh can pull this one off they have been a great team so far in this match and deserve more than india and rohit sharma is gone too

Rohit Sharma has forgotten how to bat.

well i always said 20-20 is diffrent from odi and that has been proven that 20-20 batsman cant be good in odi but rohit sharma is a good batsman and he has a technique problem

I never said 20-20 as benchmark. Actually 20-20 can help duds like Sharma and Dravid bat well in ODIs.

scion_sid added 8 Minutes and 51 Seconds later...

 What a drop.

Duds like Dravid ?

poor fielding by bdesh... 2 ovethrows and 3 drop catches... this is ridiculous.. they could have won the match easily...:mad

i have to say Bangladesh are improving a lot but their coach should suspect things what's the point where makes this team, so easy for others to beat easily

bu Great effort by Bangla players

as usual Indians took the bangla lightly while they were batting:(

Bangladesh has been absolutely shocking in the field today.

Good !
If India has batted first,we would have scored 370+ for sure.It was very very flat.

TBH I hate Pakistani pitches. I love bowling surface found in England, I most Definitely, certainly think that Pakistan Cricket Board can afford the Artificial pitches just like ones in England/Australia etc, but they just want to put the money in their own pockets. What rubbish people, innit.

In this respect, they're quite fortunate to have recruited the former Australian assistant coach, Jamie Siddons, after it seemed as if noone wanted the job following the end of Dav Whatmore's contract. There are plenty of top coaches around who are either older or a bit unfit and partly that's because these guys have assistant coaches to do the drills, the head coach doesn't have to teach hardened pros the basics. Siddons however, is only in his 40s and still very fit, able to partake in all the drills and actively demonstrate important skills to the developing team. That's not to say it's all about youth and fitness, because he has the experience; he was an outstanding first class fielder and batsman, unlucky to play in the Taylor and Waugh era, when Australia had an abundance of great players.

Good start by Tanvir. Almost got Sunnny out.
