It won't be fair If we won't mention Younas Khan, For me, After a long long time I have seen a Pakistani Batsman played like Inzamam. He was in terrific touch but Raina really took a tremendous catch.

I agree on Umar Akmal talent and his last performance against Sri-Lanka, but the core thing is that he isn't a reliable person not only form wise but also attitude wise, he shouldn't get much chances in future IMO

BTW: No one is taking the credit away from Kholi, he really played like a champion there are no two opinions on that.

Well Played Kholi and Team India Batting. Totally Outplayed Pakistani bowlers. Though Tendulkar was Ajmalized once more but he also played very fearless and was relax and for Kholi, He is indeed becoming one of the best match-winners in World Cricket If he carries on like this

For Us, Jamshed is a good prospect but needs to reduce his weight a bit I guess. Plus Umar Akmal should not be in the team IMO, He should be rested to get his brain right, The one whom you can't trust there is no use to put him in the team. I also have doubts on Afridi's attitude and issues. The body language was pathetic in the bowling or you can say it looked pathetic because Indian batsmen played so well. But it also exposed Misbah's Captaincy.

Most People are blaming Wahab Riaz for the loss, But I would say it was that "Cheema" from where Indian Batsmen gained confidence because usska tou ban gia the Qeema. Thats why folks I always said that Cheema isnt trust-worthy aur jis din yeh kisi kay hattey char gia bohat maar khayee gaa aur wohi hua.

I won't blame Wahab for this beating, You can't just put into the team straight-away based on his last-year performance. Give him confidence and make him play more matches and get rid of Cheema asap.

Here Misbah's defensive captaincy was the problem.When Hafeez took a wicket in the very first over Misbah would have continued with him.Gul was bowling good from the other end with pace & bounce which also disturb Kholi in the beginning.As soon as Misbah brought Cheema the Indian from the first bowl started attacking him.This was what the Sri Lankan opener's also did against Cheema & after that it was all India or i must say it was all Kholi.The Kholi magic did the job for the Indian.

I think if not Hafeez Wahab should have been introduced over Cheema.Some mistakes by our Tuk Tuk captain turned out to be blunders for us.

One more thing that i should mention here that Pakistan selected Wahab Riaz in place of an specialist keeper but Hammad Azam was of no use.Misbah didn't gave the bowl to Him also Azam to batted at number 6 or 7 yesterday.If Misbah don't have confidence in him then why did he include Hammad Azam.He must have replaced him with Wahab Riaz not with Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Wahab has a very uncanny resemblance to Zaheer Khan, in looks, with his action, etc...

I see people blaming Misbah for removing Hafeez after that first over. But I thought he did the right thing. It looked like he brought on Hafeez to surprise the openers and pick a wicket, and that mission was achieved (I thought it was a very impressive move). But after that with Kohli and Tendulkar at the crease, the risk of letting them have it easy playing in against Hafeez was greater and so he was right in taking him off. As Misbah said after the game, they just didnt have answers to the Indian batsmen, especially Virat Kohli and thats why they lost. Ajmal was the only guy who looked threatening but India didnt let him do too much damage, and that made a difference.

To be honest there are NO excuses at all. There were no reasons and no one is to be blamed. The way Virat Kohli played was something I've never seen in my entire life. The world's best bowling attack was tough for India except Kohli. Congratulations to India. Not because they won but they got something bigger than Sachin Tendulkar.

That's what i am saying that Wahab inclusion was a right job but replacing him with Sarfaraz Ahmad was wrong in a sense that he didn't took advantage of Hammad Azam in that game.I think Misbah should have promoted Azam after Nasir Jameshed got out.

I posted about it here yesterday itself seeing the way he bowls his doosras. His action looks awfully pathetic. He justifies it (read about his comments at TOI but since they quote him saying it, I believe he said it) by saying that the ICC has allowed him 23.5 degrees bending due to some accident. I dont understand how there can be different set of rules for different bowlers. If you have an accident, you stay home until you completely recuperate up to the point where you can perform within the stipulated rules. Already the number 23 was itself tweaked by the ICC to let Muralitharan stay within the laws. They tweak it more to let guys like Ajmal get an unfair advantage?

I concur with Bishan Singh Bedi in this issue. You either force bowlers to bowl normally or not play them at all. Dont give leeway to all these abnormal bowlers like Muralitharan, Ajmal, Harbhajan, etc and make sure there actions are smooth and within the conventional bowling style.

Edit: Ajmal picked Sachin even in the World Cup semifinal. Did we cry then? Stop blabbering... Yesterday his action looked more abnormal to the naked eye

This already been clarified. He bowls with a bend of 23.5 degrees, but he straightens less than 15 degrees, i.e. he's not chucking.

The rule wasn't changed because of Murali, it was changed because only Chanderpaul was legal under the old law. Murli was more legitmate than most other bowlers.

I play Club Cricket in Mumbai every year at the MIG Cricket Club and also in New York.
