Lol alritey then, you guys can be a bit boring! :p

Anyways, i cant understand why annihilation66 finds it unbelieveably unrealistic that England will be lifting the Ashes? the chances must be better than Australia. Alright they have the proven record but this is Englands series thus far. I also find it hard to believe vbookie has australia as favourites!

As andrew said, if you're going to act like kids, do it away from the forum, the other members don't need the thread taken up with these childish comments. The next post from either of you that is insulting one another, will be deleted.

Ok im fine with that

Yea it must be Australias proven record over the years, this is a chance to get my vbookie funds up tho! OFF TO VBOOKIE!

The biggest difference in this Ashes is that it's the Aussies that have been getting injured and not our players unlike the last several Ashes. Best team we've had in quite a while and i think everyone can acknowledge that.

Simon Jones and Andy Flintoff have improved throughout this series quite alot, Strauss is gradually improving vs Warne and Vaughan has got back into form, Michael Vaughan has yet to hit a 50 vs Aus but has hit 4 Centuries.

COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You nearley got every Indian support you to win the ashes , show the aussies that they are not invincable ( never was anyway). I'm backing all your players.

Michael Vaughan has yet to hit a 50 vs Aus but has hit 4 Centuries.

Wow, what a player :p Mind you I would take a few half centuries off him in the remaining 4 innings if i got offered now

Kevin pieterson has yet to take a catch in test cricket , he dropped all his 5 catches so far in the series , and all crucial ones .

I thought KP was a good fielder but this test series has changed things. I would have thought England would have chucked him at 3rd man by now.
Seems like Tait might not be getting a start due to "balance". They feel having 2 strike bowlers means there is not enough work horses. Why not bring in Symonds then you can share the workload better problem solved.

Yep thats true. But at least hes contributing with the bat. Has the highest average of an England player in the series. Doing well. And not to worry he will cling on to the catches eventually!! :)

I think your probably right, but even one catch im sure will bring him back to his usuall fielding standards. As everyone saw in the one-dayers, he can take catches!

Apart from the dropped catches, Pietersen has been supurb in the field. He's aware of things happening (e.g. run outs) and is quickly into action.

Pieto has been sharp especially on the runouts.

By the way ppl come to the planetcricket chat room! its a great laugh!
