That miracle is known as Flintoff. :D 300 is a decent enough total given the way our batters are going. If Aus batters finally fire then 300 would be no where near enough but they have to fire.

Even Flintoff will struggle i think because with 3 bowlers they will need to share the burden. The english bowlers now cannot just bowl a quick spell and go and cool their heels at dressing room and use a fresh sub .

I do believe that would be incorrect my dear boy. There's a weather front sweeping the country from north to south tomorrow. Frequent rain interuptions i'm predicting.

Friday.
A warm and humid day with sunny spells. Thundery showers developing especially in the east. Maximum temperature 26 deg C (79 deg F).

Directly from the UK met office. ;)
There will be small showers with sunny spells.............today (friday)

Sat Sun and mon are all good weather. England are screwed by their decision to pick collingwood. HArmison needs to bowl well and hoggard is no threat when there isnt any swing. So bacically its Warne &co vs freddie &co. BUt for once Warne has better backup

I cant understand why they have picked only 4 bowlers only, its a very defensive move which may backfire unless the 4 bowlers dont fire.

I Think Australia Have A Good Chance Of Winning The Test As Taking 7 wickets on day 1 of a Test on A flat Track Is Great And England Are with three bowlers as giles is a containing bowler.so only a miracle can save england here.

To say only a miracle can save England is a slight over exaggeration don't you think?
The game is in the balance, England still have 3 wickets left yet and even the most loyal Aussie fans on this forum could not say with certainty that the Aussie batting will click.
Throughout this series nothing has been certain until it has actually happened.

Thats my team.

1) M North (WA)
2) P Jaques (NSW)
3) R Ponting (TAS)
4) M Clarke (NSW)
5) S Watson (QLD)
6) E Cowan (NSW)
7) B Haddin (NSW WK)
8) C White (VIC)
9) B Lee (NSW)
10) D Cullen (SA)
10) D Bollinger (NSW)
11) S Tait (SA)

I agree. I'm definitely not confident of a win from here. Still way to long to go.
Today will be vital in deciding how the match goes

He sure does, I hope he comes through the ranks and is brought in to play a match with Warne so that he gets some vital knowledge from the great man.
I have also heard some good things about another leggie Ryan Le Loux. He is yet to play a game for Queensland but he maybe a star in the future.

With a name like that he MUST be good! if he can practise of a GABBA wicket, and get good there, he should be great anywhere else. what we need is warne to coach Australia in the spinning department after he retires. i think when we play weeker oppositions, such as new zealand, and we play two spinners, we should give Cullen a go, so he can get some vital experience. as opposed to Magill

I agree. Once Warne retires he must be retained and not lost like Lillie was. Then they have to have the guts not to play a old guy like MacGill and instead look to the future.

The Adelaide oval is also a great place to learn spin which Cullen will be doing. Tait will also learn tricks from having to bowl in Adelaide.

What is the forcast for today. on baggygreen it say's storms threaten the ashes decider?

There is alot of young talent coming up the ranks now. i was on the NSW blues and they have lots of young people. One guy is 18 and most of his team say he going to be a rising star.

imho i think when lots of aussies retire langer will be calledup to play ODI for his last year because he is one of the most determinded and fittest

Giles will threaten your lefties on this pitch.

Don't underrate Collingwood or Vaughan with the ball.
