Australia tour of Sri Lanka (July-September 2016)

If they can't even win aganist a low- strength Sri Lankan side, what makes anyone think that they're going to beat India next year?:facepalm

Aus should've brought Zampa instead of Holland. Last year, Sri Lanka struggled aganist Yasir Shah. They had trouble with a leg-spinner.

Pretty much Starc got all his 11 wickets by yorking Sri Lankan batsmen, either getting them out LBW or bowled.

Major props to Starc - he was amazing in tough conditions trying to support an incompetent performance from the batsmen

His form in Sheffield Shield wasn't good but i would take him to India.

We can forgive Burns (FIRST SERIES IN ASIA.) but Khawaja needs to improve a lot.

Khawaja played like one Test in India in 2013, though he looks like he can play spin well, just isn't that patient and cautious and falls to stupid strokes like attempting to sweep a full delivery and leaving one that spun back in first ball. We just need to give Aussie batsmen time to figure how they're going to exactly play spin. Some try attacking, while some don't. Zampa was good in the West Indies and in the IPL, if you noticed. In Australia, only Sydney and Adelaide pitches support spin. That isn't exactly his fault. Indian pitches (at least, some) are similar to Sri Lankan ones. Imagine if Aus draw this test with like two or three O'Keoffe and Nevill stands.:D

No we are going to win.Hala Warner and Smith :D

Australia are so pathetic in sub-continent conditions. They are as pathetic as the subcontinent teams are pathetic in their away games. Atleast Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India give a fight in tests. For Australia its the same old story everytime, just cannot play spin. People think playing IPL in India helps these players, but they dont know understand is Test Cricket is way too different. I am happy Sri Lanka are dominating. I want all sub continent teams to dominate in their home ground. I dont want to hear any excuse on pitches or anything, No 1 team you have to play better then 107 runs

It's funny how Australia keep roping in consultants in the subcontinent, but they make it look like their work has gone to waste as Aus lose Test by Test. Such losers in the subcontinent

Sri Lanka struggled against a good leg spinner, not an awful one. Australia could have picked Fawad Ahmed though. He would probably be as similar to Yasir Shah as anyone is going to get right now.

Fawad Ahmed is alive?[DOUBLEPOST=1470471153][/DOUBLEPOST]Fawad Ahmed is alive?
