Australia's Tour of India - 7 ODI's

Our best bet looks to be moving Hussey to keeper and bringing in Henriques/Hopes. Bring over one of the reserve keepers incase we need them, but none are really worth putting into the side.

Even P Kumar is bowling well,if H Singh gets his rhythm back then that will be really good for India, he is the main spinner in the team...and he has troubled the Aus team earlier...

The Aussie batsmen have so far come out with a plan to not let Harbhajan settle. They have attacked him and have made him bowl those flat and attacking deliveries which are not as dangerous as his loopy ones. So Harbhajan and India have to try a different strategy to counter this.

For India, different strategy is Amit Mishra

So far so good! :D

Hell of a start to this tournament..there's going to be twice the amount of noise now in Ferozshah Kotla, Delhi for 3rd ODI

Jadeja bowls pretty well imo.

Jadeja quickly needs to improve his batting strike rate to solidify his position in the team. His bowling has been superb so far, grabbig all important wickets in 1st and 2nd ODI's but his batting has been below par and considerng he's in the team as an all rounder, that's a strike against him.

If Harby and Praven can continue their hitting then its not so much of an issue to have Jadeja come in and whack it. If you guys collapse you can send him in at 7 else you can get the better hitters to come in.

Under Pressure Mitchell Johnson fails to walk the talk

Not quite. Harbhajan is a force against Aussies. They wont drop him (100% likely). Harbhajan is not that bad. He is out of form. Being the bowler that he is, he can be given chances to bounce back.

My only worry about Kotla is going to be the pitch. After having played on a splendid pitch in the 2nd ODI, it would be so bad playing on a slow and low pitch (like the ones that were on show in the Champions League). But after that, we are moving into Mohali and Hyderabad which again have very good pitches.

Yup both sides will have to play careful. Specially Gambhir of all people, Sehwag was holding his own on that pitch in CLT20. Nehra and Ishant should look forward to exploiting this pitch.

As for Bhajji, Aussies are playing him with a plan. Bhajji needs to change his strategy or try out new things or he'll just keep getting frustrated. Why can they toy with Bhajji and fail vs Jadeja?

anyone else think nehra has one of the worst run-up and bowling action ?

So what? He is delivering so far with that. He has been the most reliable of the Indian bowlers in the last 2-3 series. Now with Ishant finding his feet, Nehra and Ishant will make a good combo till Zaheer comes back (Zaheer, Ishant and Nehra will be a great combo).

Its just that they know Bhajji more than Jadeja. Bhajji has also not been innovative and so he is too predictable.

When things dont go your way they really dont isnt it??

First of all ponting having a brainfreeze and opting to field first...

Second Aussie bowlers getting creamed all over , even hilfy wasnt spared!!!!(how can praveen kumar be better than hilfy, mitch?????)

Third , Injuries!!!! just when the indians were fearing paine !!! he travels back to Aus now, while Aus has about 5 players out to injury , indians bask in the luck with all players FIT

Fourth, No indian bowler was able to got past 140kmph and yet aussies struggled ,,, how the HECK?

Fifth , I see hints of this series being already FIXED!! :spy
