Bangladesh tour of England, May-July 2010

@ ZZ

Mini, but very baaad collapse! Can we ever fix that??

We need the middle order to do what the did in the past 5 months.

STUMPS!!! Regroup tomorrow!!

Bangladesh are six wickets down and 15 runs to avoid the follow on.

In upcoming days rain is expected, so England should try to get as many as wickets as they can get today: 10 day Weather in Manchester - weather.co.uk Also I am reading on cricinfo the ball is reversing.

It's like England is listening to me! Bangladesh's seventh wicket has fallen.

Shahzad looks very good with the old ball here. I know its early but he looks like he could take on a Jones like role in the future; what with his pace and reverse swing.

It seems that Shafiul Islam just escaped from being bowled from the first ball. He scored a four of that ball though.

It's reversing. Why aren't they bringing in Finn?

I don't think that Finn can really reverse it and they don't want to take off either Swann or Shahzad because of how they're bowling at the moment.

I agree. He just looks a bit wayward at times. If he can fix that, he could be a very useful bowler for England.

Bangladesh haven't really thrown away their wickets, besides Ash, Shakib and Tamim...the rest have just been dismissed by some really good bowling.

Another one! Shahzad is on fire. Two wickets and three runs to avoid the follow on. And all that has to happen in the remaining 3.3 overs.

Awesome delivery that.

If Shahzad can bowl like this consistently he'd really round off the attack well. We'd have the swing of Anderson, the pace and bounce of Broad/Finn and someone with decent speed 84-88 mph who can reverse swing it with the old ball. Quite promising the younger ones coming through at the moment.

Tamim Iqbal must be pissed about the performances of the rest of the Bangladeshi players.

Rahim is out! One wicket to go. The bowlers will have to face three overs now. Shahzad will two overs of them.

5 wickets in the last 10 overs! This is pathetic from bangladesh.

All over! Shahdat Gone. Terrible decision tbh.

Bangladesh is all out. And they were four runs short of avoiding the follow on.

What a bad day ending for Bangladesh. It all went so well at the start of the day.

From cricinfo's commentary it seems that Shahadat Hossain shouldn't have been given out.

Out or not, may be he would have scored those 4 runs, may be he wouldnt have. But that was retarded. It shouldnt even come to this.

I blame Tamim, he started the collapse, he gave it away after getting his 100, just like the last test. WTF. These are worthless 100, means nothing to the team. Only personal achievement

A team is more then one player. The blame should go to the rest of the batsmen who didn't support Tamim Iqbal.

I am thinking that England will enforce the follow on overnight.

No, I dont care if the rest of the guys failed. They didnt score a 100. They couldnt show guts. Tamim did. He is in form. He is scoring 100. Why the heck would you give it away like that, 2 in a raw. TBH, all the innings he played this year, he gave it away. He couldnt stay there any longer? This 100 has no value now, (other then his own personal stats). I would rather get bowled out for 150, then come this close and not avoid follow on.

And now the blame goes to rest of the players, Ash****, Riyad, Rahim, Shakib, Jahurul, Junaied couldnt score 4 more runs?
