Bangladesh tour of England, May-July 2010

Excellent foundation this by Bangladesh. Can they build on it this time, push on, get a decent total? They will need to score really heavily I think to pose a useful total. England are a bit sluggish in the field.

Is this series still on??

Is Bangladesh still losing? :yes

Is any body still watching? :noway

Yes, sort of and yes.

England doing their best to collapse here, Colly just edged one to keeper but the umpire didn't hear it.

Shahzad bowled well, fielding, well, less said the better.

Even with his terrible fielding performance hes miles better than Bresnan in my eyes. Has done very well in every international match he's played this year. Hopefully he gets a chance in the Test Series against Pakistan at some point. Just to have a look at him against slightly better opposition than Bangladesh.

Decent bowling from Bangladesh but England haven't helped themselves by batting so negatively after they lost Kieswetter.

That's the only way Bangladesh can win matches, when one key player of the opposition is injured during the match.

Today is the day that Bangladesh finally can win against England.

It's currently 115-5 with 121 runs needed. Also it could be effectively 6 wickets down, because Bell has injured himself.

True, I do look at end of season stats for all the domestic comps around the world, Bangladesh do have some heavy scorers indeed. Some of them HAVE to be better than Ashrafool.

When you see someone like Faisal Hossain hitting 24 sixes and averaging over 50 in the FC season, you could imagine how good the competition was. I was watching him bat yesterday, his technique looked horrific to say the least.

Has Bell come back to the ground? I read he had gone to the hospital.

ZexyZahid added 18 Minutes and 59 Seconds later...

Another one is out! Wright to go.

This could have been over by now if Trott had batted properly. I appreciate that he hasn't chucked his wicket away like the other muppets, but 44* off 81 deliveries just isn't good enough. As I was saying a week or so ago, he gets stuck against spin, isn't able to successfully rotate the strike with consistency and doesn't appear to have many boundary options. At times it doesn't look like he's even trying to score. Newsflash Trotty, we need 6 an over, the longer you plod along, the more the tail are going to have to do. Get a flinging move on. If he plays like this and then gets himself out I'm going to be fuming. Been a terrible run chase. Really hope we bat first in the next game, sick of watching us chasing totals.
