Batting and Bowling Nets now available in the Cricket Academy

1)Both problems (too much concentration and real life bowling speed) can be solved by introducing last split second pitch marker.
3)I never bashed DBC 14 or act disrespectful to this game or any member in the last decade ,(I just stated my opinions that I didn't like DBC 14 because of the so and so reason and that definitely doesn't get count as bashing.
2)Plz stop ass licking the developers because they are the only ones who make cricket games.

Look man. When BA takes so much of feedback and yet gives you that harsh reply then you should realise you went wrong somewhere. Just don't get offended and drop class this easily. I'm giving you a life advice, learn to be more understanding of a situation, it will help you everywhere. Thank me later.

Oh and the idea of pitch markers just doesn't work. It has been tried and tested and rejected.

You

Where did I said that? Infact on my DBC17 nets review I give it a solid 8.5 because its improved leaps and bound over DBC14.
I didn't posted any negative comments in DBC14 forum infact haven't posted much at all because I was not following it, it just I posted here and stating my reason for not liking DBC14 so that they can be removed/improved over to DBC17 , Has I committed a crime?
Oh dear. Then why would you state FIFA trying its best to improve upon each release adding new stuff?

Even after first harsh post from Ross , I just ignored it and continued to post constructively but upon which he replied more harshly for no apparent reason.

Probably Ross was harsh, probably not. But why don't you understand that 10hrs and never ever touched the game doesn't qualify for comparing two versions? You don't even remember what one of the posts said about the ring. Do you know understand your problem? And once harsh or twice, you have no reason to drop class. The way you are speaking, if I someone wants to get you to lose cool then it wouldn't take more than two lines of speech? That's pretty weak imo.

Well in that case Ross fall before me as he lost his cool just after one sentence and he too resorted to name calling , talk about dropping class from a ceo.[DOUBLEPOST=1471106533][/DOUBLEPOST]
You said you were out of here.....then posted another shaft of absolute bollockd....please please please stfu

1) This has been brought up by other people before, and it's a view I don't agree with at all. I really don't understand why a pitch marker is something anyone considers realistic. Even if it appears later than in other cricket games, you're still reducing the batting experience from watching the ball and reacting accordingly (which feels authentic), to waiting for a mark to appear on the pitch and knowing which shots will work (feels artificial). How are you going to get beaten by late swing, get surprised by a short one etc with something like that... Removing the pitch marker was part of the innovation and vision Big Ant had, the bowling speed is a compromise that needs to be made to allow this to work. Your "solution" would be a backwards step for the gameplay.

2) Yeah you're really a respectful person - "BTW I have just realized why BAS games get shitty reviews , a game development company led by shithead bound to get shitty reviews." Ross never name called towards you at this point...

3) Being respectful and appreciative towards a person and their company who provide us with a product we enjoy is not "ass licking".

Also, you can't count to three.

BTW I am Off and out.
I think I speak for everyone here when I say... Please be a man of your word and stick to this.

I love my knikkers well twisted actually; all comes from a hideous but oh so educative experience on a stag do in Swansea; now do me a favour and go make your own thread....and I wont press the ignore button because then I cant hound you unto the very doorstep of Mordor (also known as Swansea)

Had a chance to give the nets ago: echo what many people have said here: the bowling is gorgeous...really feels like bowling! It takes quite some skill to plant things on the penny as it were and it feels very smooth and playable. Excellent stuff. It feels that you have to really develop skills to be able to bowl well and it is a great improvement on the previous experience. of course the new control system takes some getting used to but I see the pluspoints in that. Cheers BA. hope to have another dive into the logocreator again and see what improvements are there too

@Allrounder18

See bro, I do understand that you want to help improve the game but I hope you understand that not all of your feedback would be the right solution or feasible at a particular level. And it is hard to take a suggestion seriously when you haven't actual spent time with the subject. Even if you didn't like the game, you could have spend more time to check out the full range of features and nuances in the game...then wouldn't you be in a better position to give feedback? It's very much relative. Everyone of us here are passionate about the game, we all strive for DBC17 and future iteration to be better and the best.

In my experience in the last 3 years discussing with BA people and Ross in particular, personally and in public forum, I would say that they are such wonderful people (and so would almost everyone else who had a chance to talk to them). It's sad that you had to see the rough side. So finally I would like to tell you that, whatever said and done, BA is going to evaluate their system, listen to our feedback and give us the best possible output that makes them and majority of us happy to play with. So let's just celebrate together as a cricketing community, for a cricket game is gonna hit the shelves soon. :)

The eagerness to read the new posts whenever this thread is highlighted has started reducing with these posts..I am loving the way BA are going about with their game and the direction they are heading towards and the amount of detail and depth they are putting in..I have been asking guys who are on my list in steam to know about their views just to get overall feedback being a genuine fan of this game with the capabilities this game has and has created with its first version...We all have our points of views as to what should be or shouldnt be but they come up with something which is likeable for most...Its not an easy way to make people put in 1000+ or 1500+ hrs in a game just because its cricket..It must have some good stuff which has made us play for those much hrs...

I just want to move forward with the stuff they are creating and gonna be adding in the
future updates...

@angad Great to see you mate, would really love to create videos and even stream to spread the word around but playing with processor's GPU as I have no dedicated GPU for the PC..So it stutters a great deal if I create any video..

After further testing
Fast bowler speeds
158
151
144
136
130

130 is lowest till.now...
So a diff of 28kmph.

While bowling i have to keep my eyes on the hud until the ball releases and then have to shift my eyes to the pitch. It's a bit uncomfortable. May be placing the bowling hud somewhere better will decrease this discomfort.

I would suggest to not include this bowling hud in real match.. this should b only in the nets.
