Batting and Bowling Nets now available in the Cricket Academy

Ignore button not working? and if you cant recognize the massive work BA are already doing then you my son know no class...you just want more more more....
Having the ability to do mo-capping in their own studio, makes it easier to change the animations! Shouldn't be a great hassle. I am already in love with what they did with the academy and have appreciated all the good changes and additions.
But the major thing that was bad about batting in DBC 14 wes the shot animations. They have already changed a quarter of it. But still there are room for improvements. And advancing down the wicket shots are one of the major one. Whoever they used for mo-capping in the first iteration ,mustn't be that good to watch while batting. That's it!

To be fair to him, I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting more more more. Maybe the way he said it was wrong, but it's a fair opinion. Tbh, the best 'coming down the track' animation I have seen was in Ea Cricket 2004....haven seen many games get it right.

Also, am sure Big Ant would appreciate the feedback, if presented in a constructive manner.

Very good point well made.

Exactly! I may not sound very humble while giving feedback because of the lack of vocabulary as English isn't my first language like many of you. I am decent in English but obviously lack of vocab can make me sound non-witty, harsh and so on.
But the only intention i have is to provide good feedback , it can be negative but isn't that's why we are giving feedback? To make this game feel better and look better? Not gonna compare DBC with any other game as it's the best cricket game we have ever had. But shot animations really need some refinements.

Can anyone with problems with the logo creator please attach a zip file of your My Games\Don Bradman Cricket 17 folder? It will help us narrow down the issue.

How do I do that Matt?

Go to your 'Documents' folder, then the 'My Games' one - right click on the 'Don Bradman Cricket 17' folder, point to Send To, and then select 'Compressed (zipped) folder' - then it fill make a zip file, which you can then drag and drop into the bit where you type a reply on here to upload it.

is this ok

I want to know when dbc academy willbe available on ps4?

The spin video gave me an idea. How about different pitches in nets? Maybe for the demo the astro pitch can stay the same but we can have the option of differing pitch effects.
In game it would be good to have differing pitch types in the nets particularly if outdoor nets becomes a playable feature rather than just a graphic like at Bradman Oval.
Adding to this you could have different facilities at the different grounds. Major teams would have both indoor and outdoor facilities with various pitch types etc, whereas a club may only have one net or have to practice on the square/outfield.
In career, your nets practice can take place at your club and/or your opponents if away.
Pitches should at least represent the major characteristics of the region they reside in. So what's regarded as a Bunsen in England, may be normal to India for instance.

Also what kind of pitch is the generic astro pitch. Is it indicative of a turning pitch in game? Obviously the bowler has high skills as the revs are high, but would this bowler produce this amount of turn on day one of a test?
I am a huge fan of the spin bowling in the beta I liked it in DB14 but for the lack of turn, but this new beta is definitely a level above.
