Story Brendon vs Callum vs Jono - A Worcestershire Battle

Lol, they absolutely took your bowlers apart.
You seem to be much better at batting than me though.

Comments:

Poor bowling performance, Arif unable to perform back from injury as was Shakib now back from INT duty who went at 6.6 an over. The batting wasn't as bad, but it wasn't great, Kervezee with 71 and Al Hasan with 36 scoring some runs and some runs for Solanki, Ali and Arif with 20 at the end of the match but it was too late for any epic win. Our poor season continues and I might start hitting the players over the head with a cricket bat if they don't start performing.

Dalrymple pretty much killed you, like he did with me.
You're still the only one of us to win, in any match. :spy

Reaction:

Another OD match, another loss...

Our middle order is just in tatters ATM, not once have any of them played a decent knock in our four OD matches played so far. At one stage we were 60 odd for six, but Shakib and Arif managed to take us up to just over 150.

Our OD bowling continues to be a disaster. Leach made a decent debut, but our fourth and fifth bowing options are just getting taken apart.

At least we're back to what we're semi-decent at next match, with a FC match against Derbyshire.

In other news I've launched a formal complaint to the ECB, after Lancashire cheated. They took their bowling powerplay on the last ball of an over, hence only bowling 19 balls under powerplay conditions, instead of the full four overs or 24 balls.

hahaha I didn't realise that was possible. You should go report that bug on the Childish Things forums.

Shakib looks to be playing a bit better for you now at least.

I know that bug from ICC09. I used it occassionly but I have never used it in this game, mainly due to the fact that my fielding doesn't get changed regardless of the situation.

I think that to win we'll have to adjust all the fielding settings...

I don't even change bowler aggression :p

Lol, I change all that stuff.
I pretty much do everything, except use custom fields.

The only thing I do change is batting aggression. Maybe if I change the bowling aggression I might do a bit better...

You might as well change the bowler aggression, because then the fields change automatically.

That's probably why 2 slips are present in the powerplays :spy

2 slips are present 30 over's in when both batsman are in the 80's. Yeah, the only thing I change is batting aggression.

Thats an easy win for Lancashire and yeah thats a vug on ICC. Has happened many time with me.
