Story Brendon vs Callum vs Jono - A Worcestershire Battle

Yes. That would be great. I had to study last night so I couldn't get in my match so I'll play it later tonight probably as I have no homework or anything.

Ok, I'll post my next match tomorrow, as I won't be simming any NZPL matches.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to update the first post as well.

Comments:

Alright performance there. Al Hasan played great with both bat and ball. Stafford hit a great century while Adler failed in both innings. We maybe could have won this game but a draw is probably a fair result.

Kervezee missed out his century. Al Hasan was awe-inspiring with his bowling. I can't understand what was Stuart Adler doing in team, while Ben Cox is the keeper for your team. ;)

Stuart Adler is a youth regen that you get in the middle of the season, he's not a real person.
Me and Jono also both got a youth regen keeper, with a different name.

Reaction:

Wtf, another draw.
What a snorefest these FC matches are turning into, only three results in eleven matches for me now.
40 over cricket FTW, ATM.

Shakib Al Hasan is so bad, that the ████ coming out of my ass could play better than him. Ben Smith could only manage two runs in 2 innings, so he'll be gone next match. Other than that this is the best team I can put out on the park, but our bowlers just aren't good enough to take 20 wickets.

Gloucestershire win by 10 wickets

A terrible performance by us in the first innings cost us any chance of a draw or win in this match. We crumbled to 163 all out, and were only saved from an even worse score by a good half century by Ali in the face of trouble. Our bowlers were just as bad as our batsmen, as Gloucestershire piled on 516 before declaring. Shakib as normal was our best bowler, but we need all of the bowlers to stand up and do something if we want to play well in these FC matches. In the second innings Ali and Manuel put together good innings, but they just delayed the inevitable which came when we set them 3 to win. We avoided the shame of an innings defeat, but were still beaten to the ground by a demoralising loss. We scored 1 point for the match which I presume comes from our bowling. We have firmly come back to ground after our innings victory a few matches ago.

Lol, owned. :laugh

Screw searching for a fourth pacer, outside Mason, Richardson and Arif, none of them are worth playing...

CG123 added 1 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

Also I might as well say now, I won't do a match tomorrow, so I'll post my next match on Thursday.

Yea I might play an extra batsman next time to prevent against collapses ;)

You bowled well in the first innings but as normally happens they battled in the second

Comments:

We should have won that game but we didn't. Ireland batting at 11 frustrated us in both innings, scoring 14* off 39 in the second innings while Taylor was scoring more runs and if not for that partnership, we probably would have gone for the win, as we would have needed about 50 runs less to win and another 20 overs to score the runs. Shantry played well with 4 wickets in both innings while Kervezee missed out on a well deserved 100 as he now closes in on 1000 runs for the season with an average of 52.56. Stafford batted well again and Arif scored his second fifty of the season with 95*.

Arif batted like he does for me there :)

By the looks of things, Mitchell is as good as anyone for the fourth seamer...

Callum has exams and I have quite a bit of work at the moment. Once that's over we should be able to continue
