and as for all the players who decided to play for ipl teams... most of them dont have excuses apart from bravo and pollard who didn't even play in their local competition.

Yeah apart from the fact they just wanted a big fat wad of cash, most of them were NSW anyway and I'd argue they are just as strong without them.

I reckon Colin Munro could be a surprise for them as well, he was really quite impressive in last seasons HRV cup. Just looking at Aucklands squad now it actually does on paper look like one of the better teams in the tournament, unfortunately I think the problem will be they've hardly been outside which has been a problem for our teams playing so bad in CL in the past.

I think its also quite detrimental to this league that there is no Pakistani team, if its an ICC tournament (like they say) why no Pakistan. They are arguably the best country at T20 cricket, and yet have no team in this tournament.

Damn, KKR wins!!! I didnt want that to happen. Just wish Gambhir gets more rest as we need him more these days. I dont care about Dhoni and Raina from CSK because no matter how much they play, they dont easily get injured (in Dhoni's case, the guy plays with niggles and yet he is good). Ashwin doesnt need rest as he is anyway going to get it once Harbhajan returns to the national team.

I can't see it in the TV guide anywhere. There was a rights issue with the IPL, so I imagine this won't be shown either.

I used to watch the IPL highlights on their youtube channel, anyone know of any champions league highlights that might be floating around? I couldn't find a youtube page for them.

I don't get how come KKR are in the qualifiers. There are already 3 IPL teams there. How is this a CL? Just get the champions in there from all the top 8 nations and there is no need for all this. Wish they could understand such a thing.
