34.1 4 Clegg to Holmshaw
Makes room outside off stump and swishes it over the infield for a risky four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Lost already, i dont have batsmen

155/1 off 34.1...

34.1 4 Clegg to Holmshaw
Makes room outside off stump and swishes it over the infield for a risky four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

And the second fifty of the innings :)

Looking set for a nice large score:

End of Over 35: 162-1, runrate=4.63
Clegg 8-1-50-0
Holmshaw* 53 (68 balls)
Haishen 76 (106 balls)

Last Wicket: Stearman b. Roe 27 (FOW: 64/1)

Some highlights:

39.2 W Roe to Haishen
What a gem. That's pitched about a foot outside off and come back sharply through a massive gate taking the off stump with it.

39.3 6 Roe to Mavuso
It looks like Mavuso is going to be caught! Wait, no... Daley has dropped it on the boundry and he's helped it over the rope for a six!

40.4 W Davison to Holmshaw
A huge superman-style dive from the wicket keeper there, magnificent catch.

40.5 4 Davison to Gomez
Great looking cover drive.

End of Over 41: 198-3, runrate=4.83
Davison 6-0-33-1
Gomez* 5 (2 balls)
Mavuso 9 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Holmshaw c. Hedley b. Davison 58 (FOW: 193/3)

250-260 would be good. Easily defendable.

42.3 W Davison to Gomez
Plumb in front of middle peg. Gomez has to walk.

Aww. And I had such high hopes for him.

Ah well, allrounder Bonner walks in.

End of Over 50: 279-5, runrate=5.58
Lisbie 10-0-70-1
Bonner* 32 (21 balls)
Brookes 20 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Mavuso c. Roe b. Lisbie 34 (FOW: 247/5)

Pawnge :p

And The Penguins have lost their first batter:

0.4 W Elvins to Pine
Pine was mystified as the ball shot at him, he didn't have enough time to react and the ball strikes the middle of his pads, great bowling!

Naufal's two best bats have put up an annyoing (And quick) partnership. All I need is a wicket though.

End of Over 14: 72-3, runrate=5.14, reqrunrate=5.78 (279-5)
Bonner 2-0-12-0
Fabian* 25 (27 balls)
Hedley 37 (45 balls)

Last Wicket: Daley c. Cambridge b. Elvins 0 (FOW: 6/3)

Bingo!

14.4 W Cambridge to Swift
Well, that ball really swung, catching Swift off his guard. LBW!
14.3 W Cambridge to Hedley
Flicks a full pitched delivery straight to Mavuso at short midwicket. Lazy shot and a good catch!

Not much left now:

End of Over 19: 93-5, runrate=4.89, reqrunrate=6.03 (279-5)
Cambridge 3-0-8-2
Fabian* 39 (39 balls)
Clegg 7 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Swift lbw b. Cambridge 0 (FOW: 73/5)

Who would have figured that Davison would have Mediocre batting? Well, these two are saving some face for the Penguins. Davison could get a fifty if he bats for another 10 overs or so:

End of Over 28: 135-6, runrate=4.82, reqrunrate=6.59 (279-5)
Floors 4-0-13-0
Fabian* 49 (56 balls)
Davison 27 (31 balls)

Last Wicket: Clegg b. Cambridge 8 (FOW: 95/6)

41.6 4 Floors to Davison
Waits for it and drives through long off.
41.5 4 Floors to Davison
FOUR, shot! That's just brilliant from Davison, rocking back, standing tall and hammering Floors in front of square for four.

End of Over 42: 228-6, runrate=5.43, reqrunrate=6.50 (279-5)
Floors 9-0-51-0
Fabian* 88 (99 balls)
Davison 77 (73 balls)
Last Wicket: Clegg b. Cambridge 8 (FOW: 95/6)

Almost there...

48.4 W Carey to Roe
Brookes claims the catch. The umpire takes his time making the decision but finally the finger goes up. Carey is jubilant.

End of Over 49: 265-9, runrate=5.41, reqrunrate=15.00 (279-5)
Carey 10-1-49-4
Lisbie* 3 (1 balls)
Fabian 109 (116 balls)

15 off 5

49.2 4 Elvins to Lisbie
He's miss-hit that one and still gets four! What a shot!

11 of 4

49.3 W Elvins to Lisbie
Excelent stumping by Brookes!

And that's the end of the match. The Blind Society won by 10 runs.

haha good effort there voldy....this challange is going to be fun

Oh my god. I just got the commentary of my match and found out that I only needed 66 runs off the last 10 over! With 8 wickets in hand! I then lost 4/0 in the next 2 overs and the game was all but down the drain. And it wasn't just the tail this time. The first half of the collapse was the middle order!

Promotion match - Baggy Blues win the toss and elect to bat.

14.4 overs later
End of Over 15: 38-10, runrate=2.53
Waters 0-0-4-1
Hamed* 7 (9 balls)

Another 3.3 overs later

And that's the end of the match. Carlingford Roosts won by 10 wickets.
Baggy Blues 38-10
Carlingford Roosts 42-0

End of Over 4: 42-0, runrate=10.50
Noble 1-0-18-0
Simmons* 22 (11 balls)
19 (11 balls)

One highlight has to be the 6 my worthless batter hit against his strong+ bowler.

1.5 6 Wildsmith to Bradley
Bradley smashes it out of the ground!

So as expected the Baggy Blues are staying in Div 5 :p
