40.4 1 Tahir to Masibulele
Easy single to long off.
And that's a century for Masibulele! Well played indeed Sir!
40.3 1 Tahir to Germon
Drop and run. Simple game
40.2 4 Tahir to Germon
Now that's just not good cricket. Tahir will not be happy with his delivery, and Garricks will not be happy with his fielding.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Damn?

You got me Syl. Garricks is crap. Caskey and Tahir get smashed against good teams.

Longrigg and Lisbie are my only "good" bowlers.

Sorry was was that Gilly Fan? Tahir is crap?

42.2 W Tahir to Steele
Thick inside edge onto the pads, Tahir has the cheek to appeal..... The umpire's given it! Unbelievable, he's practically middled that one! Huge show of dissent from Steele there, he'll be lucky to keep his full match fee.

42.1 W Tahir to Masibulele
Masibulele clearly didn't have the pace to cover the ground to the crease in time, an easy run out!

Hamed* 2 (2 balls)
Germon 69 (92 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele lbw b. Tahir 0 (FOW: 227/5)

Interesting. I get Germon and the game swings in my favour I reckon. At the moment, Syl is still favourite.

That Germon has tons of experience so hopefully he stays to the end. Of course won't matter much if Hamed goes, then it's straight into the tail.

Very Hogg like knock from Hamed. Good to see he stuck around I was starting to have doubts if my batting could hold up once my stars got out.

47.3 1 Garricks to Hamed
On the back foot, cracking shot into the covers, sweeper fielding.

End of Over 48: 266-5, runrate=5.54
Garricks 8-0-59-1
Hamed* 20 (20 balls)
Germon 82 (102 balls)

And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 5 wickets.
Aussie Bombers 265-8
Baggy Blues 266-5

Bad luck Sean Myall was awesome today, still missing a good enough bowler to get out star batters it seems.

Comfortable win Syl. Well played.

Chav and Masi PFL/form still not good enough to get my top order rating back to Resp.

Reporter's Summary
Baggy Blues Aussie Bombers
Top Order: competent mediocre
Middle Order: feeble feeble
Lower Order: worthless worthless
Seam Bowling: competent mediocre
Spin Bowling: mediocre useless
Fielding: woeful woeful
MOTM: Masibulele

End of Over 19: 145-0, runrate=7.63
Rhodes 5-0-47-0
Mainey* 51 (48 balls)
Meyer 90 (66 balls)

Playing against a team that was in my old IV league, he wanted a challenge as I was the only team that bat him, he reckons he's better now and might win :rolleyes

Meyer batting nicely after failing against the Wulfs, can't wait to see Samuel bowl, almost on top fitness now.

Yeah, Lisbie and Longrigg only take bags against the lower ranked teams, but keep the runs down against the top teams.

Caskey and Tahir get me wickets but go for far too many runs.

When was the last time a player from the losing side won the MOTM award? Never?

I got a comfortable win in the end, really thrashed them

BFN Bombers won the toss and elected to bat.

Now I'm just searching for the perfect orders for Samuel, I need him to be a reliable destroyer as he is more than capable. Pity Meyer only just fell short of 200, but thats life I suppose.

BFN Bombers Green and Gold
Top Order: proficient woeful
Middle Order: competent woeful
Lower Order: worthless worthless
Seam Bowling: proficient abysmal
Spin Bowling: woeful abysmal

I'm happy with the ratings except spin, but thats okay, with time it will get up there.

I smashed the Civic Gardens today. Finally found a spot where Kenny Mavuso likes to bat, -career average 7 in 11 innings, highest score of 34- opening the innings. He struck 141, and Holmshaw made 74 as we piled up 282/3.
In reply, the Civic Gardens crashed to 100 a/o. Elvins and Camebridge took 3 wickets apiece.

2 wins in 2 in the Shield!

Was referring to my bowlers not getting out Myall until his 150 but guess it applied to your team too :p

I had one and it was a bowler. Never seen a batter loser get MOTM.

The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 35 (Maiden). St Michele CC: 30-10, runrate=0.86
Jp 7-5-2-1
Thatcher* 15 (59 balls)
34.6 W Jp to Knight
Good flight, the ball drifted in the air then spun the opposite away clipping the top of off stump. Knight need not feel ashamed after getting out to a ball of that quality.

Things are going great, its fun playing the top team in your league:mad:

End of Over 56 (3 runs). The Top Class Kids: 276-0, runrate=4.93
Shields 10-0-58-0
Fontaine* 138 (187 balls)
Mattheus 129 (155 balls)

Should be an easy win, im declaring at 400 and trying to avoid the PFL hit

Updates from this crucial #3 vs #4 game at Brouhaha XI CG. The home side won the toss and elected to bat on their uneven pitch, having posted good first innings scores previously.

Brouhaha XI 147 (64.4)
Botha 34 n.o.
Cable 6/13 (12.4)
Miah 2/31 (15.0)

No points for Brouhaha, their worst first innings at home by some 250 runs. Fighting Mongooses will look to set a target from here.

I am playing my home game,

End of Over 17 (Maiden). player: 13-5, runrate=0.76
Baloch 1-1-0-1
Karthikeyan* 0 (3 balls)
Paki 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Haishen c. Wotton b. Baloch 4 (FOW: 13/5)

I somehow need to extend the game for three full days! :shout
