Thats nice Syl...

Well my match with mighty Falcons is half way now... I thought that they will reach around 320-340 when,

End of Over 43: 250-2, runrate=5.81
Hamed 7-0-50-1
Habibullah* 47 (43 balls)
Shorey 60 (79 balls)
Last Wicket: Shahbaz c. Bishop b. Walton 76 (FOW: 169/2)

But Hamed really entertained everyone after that :D

44.3 W Hamed to Hitchman
Great catch! He leapt at that one like a penguin catching his dinner! Out!
44.2 W Hamed to Lister
Big appeal for LBW...and given! He doesn't seem to be happy with that decision. A big inside edge.
44.1 W Hamed to Faredullah
Faredullah was caught out by the googly from Hamed, easy decision for the umpire.

Whooooooo.. Hattrick against Falcons! :happy

46.6 W Hamed to Tauqiruddin
Bowled. Any time you see a spinner persuade a batsman to offer what seems to be the perfect defensive shot only to hear the crunch of the stumps, you know you've seen something special
46.5 . Hamed to Tauqiruddin
Slower delivery, pushed down the track, Hamed diving to his right to get the ball, well fielded.
46.4 W Hamed to Solomon
Some genius must have cloned some kangaroo genes into Bartlett. What an amazing leap to pluck that out of the air. Solomon actually applauds the catch as he leaves the field.
46.3 W Hamed to Ashraf
Ashraf has struck that a long way in the air. Walton could sign an autograph while he waits for this one to come down. Out!

Another back to back three wickets over by Hamed. This reduced Falcons to,

End of Over 48: 271-10, runrate=5.65

Clarke 8-0-53-2
Hamed 9-0-52-7

And chase also began,

End of Over 7: 34-2, runrate=4.86, reqrunrate=5.53 (271-10)
Mahmood 4-0-20-1
Bishop* 15 (16 balls)
Malik 3 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Paki c & b. Mahmood 6 (FOW: 30/2)

Bad start with the bat though  :(

But I am happy that bowlers have done more than their best against such a big team. :)

Nice game Syl, you pretty much managed to get my 3 best bats out cheaply there, that helped you to restrict me pretty well. Once again there had to be a saving grace from Spiller which he duly does now and then, luckily Meyer got a few runs today too! Bowling was effective, if not spectacular, just kept things tight and piled on the pressure.

Well, Falcons managed to get an easy victory after the dismissal of my skip, Alshaun. It was around 170/3 when Alshaun and Malik were going on nicely with fifties.. I thought they would make it home but it was brilliant comeback by Falcons in making HT all out for just 215 in 43 overs. :(

But was overall, happy with the way my team bowled today and the way my team provided the resistance against superb/strong bowling attack. Congrads PC :clap It would have been a dream victory for me if Alshaun had stayed! ;)

Congrats on the win, thought having you 4 down I might invoke one of those BT collapses looked likely until Spiller came in.
Didn't see the batting but openers didn't protect Chav for long enough, this is where I needed both Masi and Chav to stand up but it was just Chav performing this time. Wasn't expecting Ray to do much but he basically did the Germon role.

Good win for me today against Dawson, er, I mean the Rabbitohs. Bowled them out on a flat pitch for 193, Ludlam predictably starring with 5-19 off 9 overs. Dodd bowled tightly (2-20 off 10) and Alder was more expensive than I'd like at 3-48.

The reply was never really in any trouble. Gilroy batted well for 80 (65) and Stiles's slower 46* (75) saw me home.

Very pleased with my ratings as well. My best batsman is actually in the lower order, which pulls it up to woeful, but I could certainly get a strong ratings if I chose the order specially, maybe even Superb.

tommorow are the last first class games for teams in pakistan i think so any do or die games

Playing against a good side in my league, managed to bowl them out inside 100 runs after their good start of 70-2. Hitchman was the one who did all the damage.

End of Over 49 (Maiden). CC Laumann: 95-10, runrate=1.94
Hitchman 10-7-7-7

An all round display by Farrell the highlight of my match.

Finally bowled them out for 956 Farrell 5-183
In reply I'm 9/186 Farrell top score with 96

Looks like I've played the rigging game a bit too much, will be struggling to finish 2nd now that 2nd has won his game and 3rd is looking like he'll win his one. So I need to get 360 runs and then draw the match to make sure I get 2nd...

End of Over 35 (Maiden). Golden Grove CC: 117-6, runrate=3.34 (1st Inn: 217-10)
Trail by 44 runs. (Sneaky Penguins 378-3 dec)
Rogan 9-3-13-4
Roach* 2 (10 balls)
Christie 6 (39 balls)
Last Wicket: Jackson lbw b. Rogan 0 (FOW: 110/6)

35.4 W Davison to Durkin
Durkin trips and falls over, easily run out
35.3 W Davison to Roach
Forward defensive, beats the bat, on the pads, huge appeal, the umpire is thinking hard on this one, and given!

2 more to win :p

As expected got rolled for under 200 so I gave up 10k by finishing 3rd after being 1st going into this round!

Once my star bowlers came on 30 overs and they were gone for 414, Mohammed 4-16. Managed to get 0/79 in my second dig to have another draw.

Ended the season with a win. Chav finally getting to bat but missed out on another 100 :(

Novus Ordo 10/205 (Borrowdale 3-34, Sawyer 2-25)
Baggy Blues (Chavhanga 73, Ray 66, Quintus 55)

Ive been waiting almost 4 months for this match

St Michele CC v The Top Class Kids

Its payback time!!!

Welcome to St Michele CG for the match between St Michele CC and The Top Class Kids.

We can tell you that St Michele CC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and windy day.

Extreme bowler conditions at St Michele CG, Wouldnt expect over 200 today

1.1 W Mbeki to Stack
Oh that's magnificent! Cat-like reactions from first slip to take that catch. They'll be replaying that one a few times in the studio.

Good to see the back off Stack Attack, Bennett is in early signs are brilliant!

6.4 W Roberts to Gayle
Shot played out to the deep, easy single as Nicholls comes around. But wait! His throw has hit the stumps directly. Unlucky for the batsman, but he didn't make his ground, he's got to go.

RUN OUT BY NICHOLLS! there goes the form batsmen, if i fail to get bennett I should be able to pick off the batsmen at the other end

Just when I thought the Masi and Chav combo was about to click

10.4 W Woodgate to Masibulele
Stupid run there. Masibulele was nowhere near the crease. Now he's got dust all over his jumper, his mother won't be happy.

End of Over 11: 64-2, runrate=5.82
Woodgate 6-0-14-1
Chavhanga* 43 (37 balls)
Quintus 1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele Run Out 13 (FOW: 62/2)

12.1 W Harvey to Poulter
The most wonderful looking cover drive by Poulter... but he missed the ball completely... OUT!

STILL NEED BENNETT! harvs is the man for any occassion! CMON BOYS!

14.1 W Harvey to Cornick
Big appeal... yes, got him! Cornick trying to run that one down to third man has gotten the faintest of edges through to Wotton who flings the ball skyward with a yell!

If only Harvey wasnt bowling 5 over spells, he would take 8 wickets :)
